I can sum this place up with one word “AMAZING”Cam in for a quick drink after finishing work, however ended up staying for a couple hours. Amazing ambience, great happy hour menu and best of all, customer service is on point. From the host, bartender, server and manager, they treat you like family and the whole place is versatile with the food allergies (I am a vegetarian)Are you a beer fan? Try the beet sour beer! Don’t like beer, no problem you can try their old fashioned and make sure you upgrade to WoodFord Reserve for the best possible experience (trust me you won’t be disappointed)AND don’t worry they have plenty of other cocktails and wine selections ?40% off during happy hour and select appetizers everyday (2pm till 6pm)
Came for lunch and it was fantastic. The actual burger patty was massive and delicious. The Stanhope Burger is something you would expect to see on TV on a food show. They definitely take care of the little things to make it worthwhile. Ashley was also a gem. Will definitely be back.
Quiet atmosphere for a Wednesday evening. Friendly staff. Clean restaurant. Large portions. Food was okay. Nothing over the top. We ordered 3 separate meals. Deep fried pork tenderloin, half herb chicken dinner and butter chicken dinner. No wow factor but the meals are huge and filling. Prices are average.
In love with the atmosphere of this place. It has a rustic and modern beauty to it.You can come here to drink casually at the bar or set a date night for you and hubby.Quality of food is amazing and servers are professional.
Everyone should experience the place . Beautiful live music and entertainment. Service was absolutely amazing. Thank you for making it special .
Love the live entertainment on the south side! With great food and drinks.
Our group of friends went out for dinner. We all had awesome time. There variety of food was amazing. My favourite was their taco salad. We requested to the owner to play Bollywood music for us. He was AMAZING!! We all left home happy:).
I really want to like this place but the food was very disappointing.Had to ask for salt and pepper for our soup because it tasted bland. The beef Wellington didn’t have any beef in it.The bacon + scallops tasted okay but are very greasy (as you can see in the picture). For mains, the rack of lamb is okay and probably the only food we enjoyed. I don’t recommend the Braised Short Rib. I had to return it because it’s dry and bland. Our server suggested trying the seafood pasta which is underwhelming too.We won’t be coming back but giving 2 stars for the service.
The food took forever to come out. Drinks were ridiculously long to wait for. The beef Wellinton minstures had no meat in the middle. However, the chicken Tikka skewers were amazing. The lamb was perfect and the green curry with prawns was delicious. I asked to have the rest packed up and the kitchen threw it away.Thankfully our server, Isabelle, she was amazing. She offered to give us cash out of her own money, which is not ok and we refused to take it. Probably the worst valentine's day experience we have had so far in the 5 years we have been together.Isabelle is there saving grace, and because of her we are willing to come back another time to give it another chance but if it wasn't for her we wouldn't return.Thank you Isabelle for trying to make the experience as special as possible considering all the issues that came up.
The food and service were excellent. We were greeted by a very friendly host who ensured we were looked after during our dinner at Stanhope. My wife had risotto and I ordered shrimp green curry-both dishes were cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was very pleasant and relaxing. We had an opportunity to dine in a private room and meet the owner of the place. Overall, I highly recommend Stanhope and had a great experience dining there.
