The food was excellent! Especially the bell pepper dip (kopanisti). There were a few non food related issues though, otherwise this would have been a 5. The bathroom was not well kept. Paper towels on the floor, no paper towels available, no soap in dispenser, etc. The other big issue was the music. The restaurant was not busy, bit the volume was extremely loud. So much so, that I could not hear my wife a few feet away. I asked our server, Don, to turn the volume down, but he did not. We were also charged for extra dip that we did not ask for, and while it was removed, it was a little suspicious as we did ask for extra pita for the dip. Another annoyance was the fact that we did not get nearly enough pita for the dip. We asked for more, and we were charged, which didn't sit well. I would recommend simply sending more pita with the dip, and just adjusting the cost. Other than that, the food was really good!
I would recommens the lamb shank and lansanga 100%! The lasanga came with a fresh salad that was made carefully as if it was a main dish. Very friendly staff (server was Don), upbeat and lively atmosphere. Washrooms kept clean and tidy. On Fri/Sat nights, they have a dance floor with a dancer who engages with the guests, and they had plate smashing; both of which made the place have a strong culture/community feel :)

Food was very good. The lamb shank is definitely worth trying, delicious taste and the sides were excellent. Besides a delicious dinner we got to enjoy a belky dancing show which was totally unique and unexpected but made our Saturday night out extra special and super fun. The chef is amazing and service overall was great. This place is definitely recommended!
Lamb chops are great. Green salad and feta also not bad. Chicken is dry and tough. Also need to clean the place- urine on toilet seat and dirty floor too.
Awesome Greek salad offering large chunk of feta on top for diner to crumble on their own. Lamb of three types all great. Baclava very, very rich and tasty. Mara contributed to our group of 4 having a wonderful experience. Thank you.

Very good service. Fair price on the drinks. I thought main entrees were a little salty to my taste, overall it was a good experience.
Good was incredible! Had the tzatziki, calamari, and moussaka. Everything was so flavorful. Great atmosphere, the belly dancing and plate smashing was such a great added bonus. And Neil was so much fun as our waiter. Would highly recommend!
What can I say, with or without hesitation, this restaurant never disappointed us from the moment we sat down or until we left the experience was amazing!!! Ive been living in Edmonton for the last six years and been very disappointed with the choice of Greek food here in the city. If you're looking for amazing Greek food, you will never go wrong with the Spartans Greek Taverna!!! Great service, really good quality food and an authentic Greek experience. You guys really made this Greek guy happy!!!Ευχαριστούμε!!!!
