This place has the most variety of Japanese dishes I have ever seen! We can't wait to go back and try more things. We got the Chicken Katsu Curry and Nabeyaki. The curry tasted more Indian than Japanese, but was still delicious! The Nabeyaki could have used more flavor in the broth. Both were way bigger portions than we were expecting and couldn't finish it all! We also got green onion cakes - delicious, the watermelon snow bubble tea < bf loved it, and the pear sake - no pear flavor. Was expecting more of a fruity sake.

Shio Ramen:al dante thick noodles, creamy broth. Full soft boiled egg instead of half. The pork was a little dry. Broth tasted slightly on the sweet side - personally I prefer savoury broth. Bamboo shoots tasted ok but the shoots are too old so very fibre-ry.Overall restaurant was clean & service fast

We loved this place. The foods are yummy! ?The washrooms are nice and clean too.Though we just have an issue with one of our order, they happily replaced it! ❤️ An excellent customer service!Definitely we are going to re-visit soon!

Just ordered and..... the rolls are all squished together and not even rolled...which wouldn't be so bad IF it tasted good BUT the California roll is missing the sauce used to mix the inside as its very dry... and the rice has to be old or not cooked and who ever rolled them or made them, shouldn't be making sushi. We order from this place in Fort McMurray and it's amazing. So disappointed.... by the look and taste. Never again.

Pretty good(Updated on Mar 31, 2022)We visited a year ago with great impressions, so we came back to try different items. However, we were pretty disappointed this time. So I changed my review from 5 stars to 2 stars. We ordered Chicken Karaage, Pork Katsu Curry, Sukiyaki and assorted tempura.Maybe the chef or owner have their own innovative recipes, but it’s not authentic Japanese cuisine. The Sukiyaki is not Sukiyaki at all. The tempura batter is terrible. Chicken karaage is just like chicken nuggets. It’s understandable that they might need to adapt to the local market, but I won’t come back.

Really adorable layout. It was comfy and the service was great. Food was phenomenal. They also have a happy hour menu.Would highly recommend ?

We tried spicy tonkatsu ramen, miso ramen and a golden dragon roll. The service was alright and the ramen was honestly the worst ramen I have ever tried in Edmonton. Their eggs in the ramen tasted old as well as the noodles were too overcooked. Miso noodles were so salty, my friend didn't dare to take another sip after, my spicy tonkatsu was not even a little bit spicy, it tasted worse than an instant ramen.

I ordered a sukiyaki from Skip, and I found MANY egg shells in the soup!!! Terrible! I have never eaten and found so many egg shells in my food before! This is so unhygienic and unprofessional! WILL NEVER ORDER AGAIN.

For the price .. amazing. The menu is massive. Service is solid. Food tastes great. Great spot!
