Very disappointed in my visit today. Bought some baked goods. Long Johns for my kids birthday party. Get home and some were packaged sideways, some upside down, and one upright. Really disappointed in the poor grocery packing. If the people working there can't package groceries correctly, they should let us pack our own. The desserts will taste the same, but first we need to scrape all the chocolate of the packaging to appl it back on the dessert. Not happy at all!
The store is updated and has a nice layout. They're extremely expensive and would not recommend. Everything is $2-3 higher. I bought a small fresh pasta salad from the fresh area and it was $8 for two small bowls that had 3 bites. Totally a rip off. We even went late at night so you would think they could discount it considering they throw it out. Only time I would go here is if there is a sale. They never have stock on vegetables and fruit. Don't shop here! Way better options
I had a great experience at Sobeys today. Today I went in Sobeys to stock up on paper towels, while checking out, the cashier - Ramandeep saw me buy a lot of paper towel and suggested a better deal which I ended up taking saved me 20% more. Thanks! Wish there are more cashiers and customer service people like her.
This is a great store, well laid out, great produce and meat selection. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly, I do all my grocery shopping here.
great place for shopping ,But the prices are comparatively higher than other grocery stores in the besr by area, alwys noted leafy veggies r not that fresh in this store...Deli not that great. better place for quick shopping with enough parking space . Good to have Starbucks in the store
Great service always. The cashier was very friendly and efficient. I really love their selection of cheeses at this location and have always found the floral section to be full of choice, not to mention the very helpful and friendly associates in the floral section who can help customize arrangements for a great price.
I never knew that if you do not leave the Store by 10pm then staff will policing on you and stand beside customers and push them to leave.Yes this Happened to me today at Sobeys at Walkers. I had to pick a cake for my family but I was late, it was 0957pm when I entered the store, but I knew what I want and my business will be quick. I went straight to bakery section, as there were lots of option so I quickly called my wife to ask what she would like and by that time I saw someone standing beside me, it was one of Sobeys employee. Another Lady behind the counter asked me what I want, and I told her my order. But this employee, mutely standing beside me, were staring at me. It was awkwardly annoying so I asked her, Are you here for me?She replied “ yes” . Just one Word answer which pronounced in very rude voice.I asked my self, if it is related to closing time then she could just inform me and would have proceeded.As the bakery counter lady packed my order, this Employee ordered me ( yes the tone was ordering) “come to the counter whined me” . Know what was this? Who is she? Was she an employee? Or she was Sobeys Police ?At cash counter, she was in rush , I understand it was closing time and they might be getting delayed because of my business. Despite all the behavioural disagreements, I greeted her “Good Night “And she ignored me, totally ignorance with awkward look as if I made some criminal mistake by visited that store.The whole point is, was this Sobeys standard Service, it never happened any time before, but is it an offence checking out the store at 10pm.Is it a standard of Sobeys to policing people and push them to cash counter rather informing them?Is this Sobeys standard to rudely Ignore customers to make them feel guilty for checking out at 10pm?Is this normal behaviour of Sobeys employees or it was specific for particular RACE ? ???If this is what Sobeys have in under their SoP’s then fine, but if Sobeys standard doesn’t fit with this scenario then what they will be doing to prevent this to happen to any other customer?
I visit Sobey for good customer service and quality product. The staff here is usually really nice but today i felt ill treated by this old white lady with short hair. She was very rude to me. I had a tiring day and didn’t had the energy to deal with her (did not ever get her name). Disappointed :(
I often visit this Sobeys if I am in Elllerslie. I normally go to Sobeys Beaumont. I always have great shopping experiences at Sobeys. Kudos Sobeys!????⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐????
