This was our first time here and overall it was pretty good. We started with the bruschetta con bocconcini which was supposed to be spicy but we didn't feel any spice from it. Comes with 4 pieces and although it wasn't bad we wouldn't order again. It just felt like it was missing something. They also give you a bread basket with oil which was quite nice. For the mains we had the linguine miscuglio and the rigatoni salsiccia con ricotta. At $23 and $21 neither of them were cheap but the portion was quite large and could easily make 2 meals. Both were quite good and worth the price. I was a bit disappointed in the rigatoni because it's supposed to have Italian sausage but I could barely taste it. The dish still tasted great but it would definitely be much better with larger chunks of the sausage.Service was on the slow side but the waitress was super friendly and got quite a few tables at the same time so understandable.
My pasta was good..I think the bread that was brought out could be much better (we found it dry) maybe homemade garlic bread
Second time coming to this fine establishment. We came for my daughter-in-laws 30th birthday and as usual the food was fantastic!
Had an amazing dinner with 25 family members. Awesome service!!
Not being from the city, we were looking for a pasta restaurant & came across this one that was closest to our hotel. Promptly seated even though it was very busy mid-week. Greeted by our lovely, efficient server, Sophia, who was very patient with all of our questions. Once we decided & ordered, the dishes came within a reasonable time & were prepared perfectly. We did not feel rushed to leave & Sophia was very attentive which was much appreciated. Next time in Edmonton, we will visit again!
A very popular restaurant on a Friday night. The portions are large and flavorful. The pasta was cooked well and not at all soggy. If you are ever craving Italian food, this would be a good place to check out.
Our family meals here have always been consistently fresh and tasty over many many years. Always lovely service and high quality food. Our kids always enjoy it and the portions are always crazy. It's our only go to pasta place in Edmonton.
Anniversary dinner first time at this restaurant. There dining area was about 50% occupied. Promptly seated with menus. Our server was prompt and asked if we wanted drinks. The drinks were at the table within 5 minutes. We ordered Calamari and Bruschetta Pomodoro for starters. We waited about 25 minutes for the starters to arrive. The Calamari plate was filled with deep fried pieces of Calamari some in rings and the majority of unrecognizable pieces of what could have been Calamari. Quantity not quality with this starter. Bruschetta came with about 8 pieces of warm grilled baguette pieces and a bowl of chopped tomatoes in an oil sauce. The oil sauce mixture was so overpowering with Basil we only had 2 pieces each. Ease up on the Basil already! Our mains arrived shortly after. My wife had Linguine Misculagio with pieces of chicken, shrimp and Italian sausage in a Cajun cream sauce. Plenty of food and the pasta was cooked Al Dente and the sauce flavorful: however my wife counted 3 miniscule shrimp in the entire bowl and the sausage was equally rare! My Pollo Parmigiana plate contained 2 rather large thin pieces of chicken breast with thinner pieces of spicy ham topped with an absolutely disgustingly over powering tomato sauce. Dry creamy over cooked Penne pasta on the side. There could have been any type of meat on the plate and I would never of known what it was due to the sauce. I could not taste anything else. The pasta was something akin to Kraft Dinner. One and done with this place. I do not want a reply from the manager because nothing will change!
If you like your food cold and service staff unresponsive this is the place to be. Apparently at 75% of their regular volume means that serving staff gossips for 20 minutes at the bar before they bother to check if your order is up. When asked to address the issue of cold food the manager was belligerent in attempting to fix the issue.. They returned the same food as previously served, fresh from a 30 second nuke in the microwave. Staff never asked if the issue had been addressed to follow up.I have ate at this location for nearly 2 decades, we have had family dinners, date nights and gathering with friends over the years. This past experience was appalling. The disrespect of management was the final nail in the coffin for a business we went out of our way with to support during the pandemic. Super disappointed.
Amazing food, and courteous, prompt service even on a busy Saturday. 10/10 recommend!
