Who would knew curry flavoured Korean chicken would work and it was the most tasty fred spiced chicken I've ever had. Deep rich flavour that tingles your mouth, cooling off with their homemade pickle daikon radish. Their homemade salad was also delicious and refreshing.
First time trying SFC but it won't be the last. Takeaway only. The service was friendly and our order came out so quickly. We ordered SFC BBQ and it was hot, fresh and delicious. Will definitely be back to try other flavours. Recommended.

Loved the wings from here. Very high quality and the different flavours were really good. We tried the spicy BBQ which if you like spicy was not really spicy at all but still good. We also tried the cilantro lime which again was delicious. Those ones came with a dipping sauce which was really good. The place is take out only so don't plan on eating here and they have limited parking. Prices are reasonable at $16 to $18 for a half order and was really quick.
Let me start by saying the feathers I got in my chicken on both occasions dimmed this review significantly. If I managed to get an order without feathers I'd rate differently. Just a bit gross and weird, they could easily pluck these.I found the fried chicken to taste good, had minimal bones throughout the box, their flavors are good, I took sauce on the side so they didn't get soggy the next day but the garlic parmesan and the cilantro lime were tasty. The prices went up between visits and compared to online menu which is unfortunate but still not unreasonable. The location was very busy the first time I was there, small but trendy looking, second time I ordered on the site and came in around the eta time and ended up waiting a half hour still. First time was about an hour. Not nice waiting that long even though the food is very tasty like a 4/5 or something.Just the feathers and crazy wait holding them back for me, I do appreciate a stamp card too.
I have been a patron of SFC since it’s opening in 2016 and it’s my favourite Korean fried chicken place! Prices are great, I don’t believe they have increased it since opening. My favourite flavours are garlic soy, GP cheese, and cilantro lime. Garlic soy is my default, GP cheese is my choice for a more decadent/rich meal, and cilantro lime is perfect for a hot summer day (fresh and not too tangy). My recommendation is to always opt for the corn fritter instead of the fries but the fries are good too. A 5-piece set is perfect for a heartier lunch or quick dinner option since it comes with 5 pieces of chicken (lately it’s been 7-8), 2 sides and a drink.Only reason why I’ve rated it at 4 stars instead of 5 is I tried out their online ordering system and it’s not good. Ordered at 4:50pm and was told pickup is at 5:11pm according to the email. Walk over and arrive a couple minutes late and was told to wait. I was honestly shocked that I had to wait for a giant order of 6 full orders and 2 5-piece sets before I picked up mine that I ordered over 20 minutes ago. I’m just gonna stick to ordering in person or calling instead.
This is the only fried chicken i can eat! It is beyond delicious, and never lets me down! I like to order extra bbq sauce to dip my chicken! I love it! ♥
The 1/2 portions are huge. 3 1/2 orders are enough for 5 people. The Onion Lover and Cilantro Lime 1/2 meals were super tender. The Mac & Cheese Pesto was unique. The Kimchi was hot but flavourful. This is a take out only place.
This place was incredible. The best chicken you will ever get. They only have take out, but you can order ahead. It was a little slow, but I went right at lunch tome, so considering it actually wasnt too bad.
Been going here since they first opened in Edmonton and I really love how the quality of their chicken has not changed since then.I think they’re always good quality because the chicken is always perfectly crunchy on the outside and moist (not dry) on the inside. Also perfectly seasoned every time!They also always package it nicely and there’s never any sauce dripping from the side!I love that when you want pick up, they give very accurate waiting time and then also text you when your order is ready.Love this place so much and would definitely recommend to everyone I know!
