The service is always fantastic, food comes out quickly and is pretty good taste wise. I've been coming here for years! The only reason why I'm giving a 1 star is because today I witnessed what I believe is the owner sitting in the back booth and forcefully grab one of the servers by the upper arm/elbow and yank her down to his level to talk to her. Disgusting way to treat any person and your long serving and wonderful waitress.May not be back based off this, I dont want my money going in that person's pocket. One that psychically controls and disrespect his employees.
Just finished the breakfast with my family. A little bit shocked with my meal, one piece of waffle was over 15 dollars, and side order of topping was 3 dollars or more. That is almost 20 dollars for a waffle! The waffle tasted exactly like pancake. Did they use the pancake batter to make waffles? Won’t come back again. Would love to spend couple dollars more to get meals with better quality.
This place has a really decent breakfast , I liked it and will go back , can't rate anything else but would like to try lunch and or dinner, oh ya and the service was good didn't take long to get coffee and have our orders taken , I recommend it
Great little hole in the wall restaurant that appears family owned and operated! Went there for breakfast and was happy with the result! Server was attentive and refilled my coffee many times. Order was quick and easy. The restaurant decor is a little dated but that's ok for a family owned and operated place, it was clean and tidy though.I will definitely return again. Nice change of pace from the usual chain restaurants like Denny's or IHOPs.
Great old school diner. Been around since like '58. Was not shocked seeing liver and onions on the menu. I had the clubhouse - pretty good. Pricey at just over 20 bucks but comes with fries. Gravy is very good.
Everything is always great here. I especially enjoy the homemade soups and thee large steamed carrots served with mains. Service I always quick and the prices are awesome. My steak was excellent.
Was a nice diner experience. If you are looking for a place that takes you back to the 80's/90's this is it. Upon entering I immediately felt like I was a kid again, the food was great and the servers are very friendly.
Place is pricey for breakfast.Toast are not freshBacon are soggy and probably been sitting for atlst an hourService is mediocre lady that served us literally slams the plate on the table
If I could give this restaurant zero stars- I would. Where do I even begin? I visit the restaurants a few times a week. Every, and I mean EVERY single Thursday when I visit, my poached eggs are incredibly runny. When I ask for hard poached eggs, I want hard poached eggs.I'm seeing reviews left and right about the "exceptional customer service" which isn't true in my experience. The manager that greeted me in the front rolled her eyes and scoffed when she thought I wasn't looking, clearly annoyed by my presence. There is this one Asian waitress that no matter what, and no matter HOW many times I repeat myself, never understands me. I understand that isn't her fault but with limited understanding of English, shouldn't they have kept her in the back? But I don't want to protect her. Every time I see her, I see her fooling around on her cellphone and sitting down in the corner table with an old man, a table meant for customers. I can hear that same old man fighting in the back, even in the front sometimes, while I'm trying to enjoy my, oh wow, surprise surprise! Incredibly pricey food.An 8 ounce steak for 25 dollars? 20 dollars PER burger? I ordered liver a few weeks ago, and it was so under-cooked- I couldn't even finish that abomination! The rice pudding I ordered last week tasted burnt and just off in general. If I want to customize my dish, maybe switch out an original ingredient, They charged at least three dollars more too the original price. For one switch? How funny. Now for a summary: Horrible customer service, under-cooked AND over-cooked food, the random old man always arguing in the kitchen, INSANELY pricey food and for some reason ten times worse on Thursdays. This restaurant made me want to eat at McDonald's for the rest of my life. Remember, zero stars if I could.
Just moved to the area and this is officially our breakfast spot. Best French toast in the city! Cozy atmosphere, lots of parking, friendly staff.
