It's a great place to eat! It's definitely the best Turkish/Lebanese restaurant in Edmonton! The experience at Sahara is very welcoming for all ages, the food is so delicious, and the service is excellent! This restaurant is well maintained and gives you the feel of a fine dining experience at a reasonable price. Sahara offers a wide variety of authentic Mediterranean dishes. We shared a set menu with our family while enjoying their specialty drink, Sahara Passion! It feels like we have a little bit of everything the Mediterranean loves to eat! It was a fantastic experience! The best Lebanese/Turkish restaurant ever!
While visiting my son in Edmonton we decided to seek out some Lebanese food. After a quick Google search I found Sahara Mediterranean restaurant and it was quite close by so we decided to give it a try. Being Lebanese and having grown up eating Lebanese food that all my family makes, I’m always interested in seeing different interpretations of the foods I’ve grown up on.After looking at the menu, I asked if it was possible to have a Meza which is a set menu consisting of a selection of starters and salads and various traditional foods, and I was told it was $40 per person. We decided to go with this option.The food was as authentic and delicious as it could have been! My son and I enjoyed the freshness and amazing flavours, while noticing slight differences from my mom’s recipes.For someone wanting to try a variety of Lebanese foods, the Meza is a great way to share several items and get an true experience of dining in Lebanon.When I come back to Edmonton I will definitely return. And my son assures me he will be back often as well.
Ordered take out for lunch and I can say that pretty much the best Lebanese food around. Hummus was amazing and the wraps were very good as well! Would totally recommend this place. Next time I will be finding in because the place looks stunning! Also, the owner/manager threw in the hummus and pita. I will only have middle eastern cusine from Sahara going forward!
We were served by Roziel. Her service, personality, demeanor was excellent and add a sense of personality to the dinner. Our food was amazing. Food was fresh, warm, tasty and a delight to the pallete. We highly recommend coming here for dinner with a large group. The ambience of the restaurant was fitting to the cusine.
We were so happy to be in the company of hospitable hosts. Food presentation was excellent & we enjoyed meal till the last bite. Welcoming ambiance & definitely one of the best fine dining place in town.

It was a fantastic experience. I am Lebanese so my expectations were very high for the food. Everything was on point and delicious. The timing of the courses was perfect. We were a party of around 50 celebrating a wedding. The manager made sure everything ran smoothly, the servers were amazing and very efficient. Everybody left very happy.
Rosel was absolutely delightful she was just the perfect amounts of everything! Great sense of humour and very very kind! Definitely coming back just to see her again! The food was lovely and I wish all the best to her and definitely recommend giving this kind lady a raise! Overall lovely experience once again! (Price is also super reasonable and the food was exquisite)
I’ve tried almost all Arab restaurants in Edmonton (Paramount, Turquaz, El Fino), & this restaurant has the best tasting food by miles. Quantities are amazing, the restaurant itself is very well laid out & clean. Customer service is very good as well. It is a bit of a wait to get your food but nothing too crazy, & it’s definitely worth the wait. Pictures don’t do this place justice. 10/10 my go-to Middle Eastern restaurant from now on.
We went for a date night to Sahara. All of the food was amazing! We tried a few different things. Can't wait to go back! Amazing service, our server was able to answer questions and provide recommendations!
