Love it here. Everyone's so helpful to locate something if you can't find something, as well as for the worker in the flowers section there is really kind and courteous that if I need a pen or tape or something they're willing to help right away. I like this Safeway location cause everyone's really happy. Good job Southgate Safeway :)
Prices up, quality and quantity down. I took a quick stop in here and ended up spending $50 on a few odds and ends for meals this week. Even with the consideration of inflation, I'm astounded at how expensive Safeway has become and the drop in quality of products available. Plus, their specials and discounts on items have become laughable whereas other grocers actually have big discounts and deals on items.It's a significant mistake to buy groceries here anymore.
Had the shopping I needed to get done . To pay Bills and such, buying Prepaid credit cards to help with my online bills. As I don't use my debit card from my bank. Identity Fraud no. They tried me once but didn't get a Dime. Now I see their little pathetic scams and give them a dollar or two. Cuz even they need to eat too
Great products and the sales were fantastic. Whoever is on self checkouts today could use some more customer experience, like offering paper bags when a customer is clearly searching around for some and not making side comments while we are scanning our groceries through.
Line ups at checkouts were far too long plus not enough tills open for time of day.Self check out a minimum 20+ people waiting and the 2 staffed tills had minimum of 7 customers. Unacceptable for the amount of time waited not to mention the exhorbatent price gouging.
Been coming to this Safeway off and on for the last 22 years. Last visit was a few years ago. Seemed like I had just been there. Nothing changed. Like a step back in time. Not a bad thing.
Staff were friendly and I found everything I went in for. I used the self check out. Fast and convenient. The garlic bread was really tasty and fresh.
Rarely have a good experience at the deli sandwich bar. 4+ workers all talking with back turned ignoring me as I’m standing there. They always come off as “annoyed” when ordering a sandwich.
Found what I was looking for they have a good selection of gift cards.
Its was Alright. Their prices can be a bit steep that's for sure but their discount shelf is usually good
