My roommates shop here, I prefer Safeway but this pharmacy is terrible and there is no Safeway gas bar. I'll travel to a different Safeway for my needs.
Prices are extremely high and self checkout is useless. Can never do a full check out without the system asking for a clerk code for something or other. System needs to be updated but staff member just shrugged when I mentioned it like she couldn't care less.Not sure who does the bakery cake decorating but have ordered from there twice with pictures and colors to show what I wanted but nothing even close to what I asked for!! Grandkids were extremely disappointed.
Creepy produce staff following me every time I come to the store making creepy comments. I will not be returning to this location ever. If I do it will be just to record him…
They have good service and fast cashier's.
The lady that took my call on April 8th was so rude. I called asking them to put my granddaughter's new prescription in a bubble pack. She said "you're not listening to me" as she told me they had filled the last one in April. No need for that behavior! Something went wrong with the Dr's fax and they hadn't rec'd it. When I called back the call was answered by the lovely Isla. (Spelling). She looked into it and was on top of it all the way. Thanks so much Isla. Give the girl a raise and tell the other one to treat the customers with respect.
Comparing it with Superstore, I have to give them 4 stars, for two reasons. First, their reward system isn't appealing enough, and air-mile barcode scan on self-checkout never worked for me, and I always have to punch in the numbers. Second, the prices are usually higher, though when they have discounts, it makes a difference. In general, I enjoy shopping here.
My local Grocery Mart! What can I say of "My Safeway"? Well that's the funny part, my Safeway is like the rest. With the new looks on my store and many others following, I never had a bad trip at the Grocery Mart. The store feels clean every visit, the bakery and Deli always are a treat! Their Donut Game is real folks! Polite staff and Good atmosphere are definitely a personal and professional Standard! I want other Safeway to be like "My Safeway"!
All the employees we came across, were very accommodating and helpful. We also found everything we needed, everything was very organized and clean.
Was just at safe way and went through self check out. I got a couple items I figured maybe 30$ and my total was 70$. It seemed crazy to me so I was checking over the recite to make sure I didn't double scan anything. The girl at the self check out walked right up to me and asked me to move along because there were other customers and I said just give me a moment, I'm just double checking my recipt. Everything was correct just much more than I buggeted for and I got a little upset and teary eyed. As I'm walking away, the same girl snaps at me "the bags are .15cents." I get that they cost now but I thought the charge was for plastic bags and I had gotten a paper bag. Already feeling low and then to get rushed and snapped at for making a mistake. She was quite rude and as I said oh I'm sorry I didn't know, she snaps again "yup, sure. Have a great night." With a very sarcastic tone. I will not be returning.
