The 3.9 rating does not do Rishun justice! This place has arguably the best Chinese food in Edmonton and for really affordable prices. My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed the Peach Shrimp, Lemon Chicken, House Special Chow Mein, Honey Garlic Pork, and Chicken Fried Rice within the Dinner for 4 combo (don't judge we need leftovers). The added Wonton Soup and Spring rolls were absolutely perfect appetizers to get us in the mood for the amazing meal we had. Nothing was over cooked/fried as a lot of other Chinese food places do, it was all cooked to perfection. I definitely recommend Rishun to anyone in the callingwood area!
We come here for pick-up orders often! They have the friendliest guy at the front counter. They're great about pre-ordering on a busy day. We pre-ordered during the playoffs on a Saturday and it was on time. Would highly recomend!
Decent ginger beef, but green onion cakes, spring rolls and the shrimp dumplings were just bad. Over fried, and the dough was just falling apart. The shrimp dumplings had a tiny piece of shrimp and the batter was just dry and inedible. I would seriously consider upgrading your menus quality, I don’t mind paying higher prices if food quality is better.
Tried out Rishun Happy Diner because we used to go to Chopsticks for many years. Food was great! Good sized portions and good price.
Pre-ordered a meal for mother's day through Uber Eats from this restaurant for my mom, but they never delivered the order and nor did they offer an explanation or a phone call to advise. Based on this experience only, I would NEVER recommend them regardless if their food is decent or not. Customer service wins above all, even if food is just mediocre.
Ordered through skip the dishes. The selection was good. We really enjoyed the food. The flavour could have used a bit more of a punch but it was definitely good. I would easily recommend this restaurant if you’re in the mood for Chinese food.
We had always ordered from chopsticks and weren't sure how the new owners food would taste so we decided to try Rishun Happy Diner Chinese Restaurant and were very happy with everything we ordered.If your looking for good Chinese food in the westend we would totally recommend this place.
Best Chinese food in all of Edmonton! We love this restaurant for the delicious dishes but also the staff are so kind. Our go to take out spot.
Eat in service was ok however the pricing was too expensive for the amount of food you get. I did notice that as I paid with cash it did not go through a cash register but he simply took my money behind the curtain and brought out change.
In the past this place has had amazing, delicious food. Last night we ordered a huge spread for takeout, first time ordering under new management. We picked up our order, no issues. However, out of 7 people, 4 got sick last night with mild nausea and one of our party has been sick to their stomach all day and unable to keep anything down. What a disappointment! Will not order again.
