I'm right beside Miss Saigon so I decided to try something different since I always eat there. Ordered the vermicelli bowl. The bowl was huge so expected lots of stuff but it was full of just noodles and bean sprouts with 3 small shrimp, 2 bite size pieces of chicken and 2 tiny spring rolls on top. If I just wanted to order a bowl of noodles I wouldn't have paid $15. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing bc I'm very unimpressed. It's probably the worst vermicelli bowl I've had to eat.
I went there for some food today and it was the best customer service I've ever gotten. Dane was super nice, friendly and a really awesome guy to talk to. The food is great and in big bowls we'll worth the money. My spring roll add on was a little underwhelming though.
The food here is delicious. They have so many options, it's impossible to make a bad choice. There is no other place like it in the City. I would recommend adding a Dragon Eye roll to your order as an appetizer, they are so yummy.
Do not recommend- no substitutions even for extra cost, pad Thai had 3 pieces of chicken the rest tofu and egg and was super bland, they also ask for vaccine passports for PICKING UP!!! Do NOT recommend and will not support!!!
It's not bad for what it is ... Asian food on the cheap but not fast food quality. The price is reasonable when I ordered Gangnam Chicken Bowl, 4 piece Korean Fried chicken with sauce and pop for $23.55. There are different dishes ranging from Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese and Thailand etc. They even have a lot of side dishes such as dumplings, crispy pork, Korean fried chicken and stir fry vegetables etc.The Gangnam chicken is crispy and the sauce goes well with the rice. Just wish there was a bit more rice as the container is too big. The 4 piece chicken is good as well. It is cooked to order so you get a crispy crunch when you bite on the chicken. Though you do not need the sauce as it is good on its own. However I wish the sauce was a bit spicy but I guess not a lot of customers will order it if it is spicy. My friend recommended to buy the Hong Kong style Ice Tea. I bought it for takeout. Its not bad because the iced tea is not very sweet. Just right amount of sweetness. I also tried my friend's Hong Kong style milk tea. Again not too sweet but I prefer iced tea more.I may buy HK style iced again.
Honestly amazing. This place was recommended to me by a few friends, and I was not disappointed. The food was incredible, staff was very friendly, and the décor was unique. They have a wide selection of rice/noodle bowls, but my current favourite is the yang chow fried rice bowl; it was quite filling! I also had tried their watermelon bubble tea, and it is honestly to die for. 10/10, I will be back!
We decided to order our food via Rice Bowl Deluxe app. We live 8 minutes away. We know, we could’ve gone and picked it up, but having a 2 year old complicates things. So opted for delivery. We waited 1.5 hours… yup, no exaggeration. We contacted the restaurant 2 times and we were given the typical “we’re sorry, it’s on it way response”. When our food arrived it was cold and sauces spilt within the bag. Never again will we order deliver from this location and we warn others of the problems we encountered on a Monday evening.
Great Food and outstanding customer service! Ordered a Macau Beef curry for dinning in and food was amazing authentic as if menu was from Hong Kong. Great customer service as the Cashier was very helpful with suggestion and give out good menu advices! Will go back more to try out more dishes and rice bowls from their big menu!!
Denied service. This restaurant has a policy of medical discrimination - even to those with valid paperwork as per Alberta Restrictions Exemption Program.
I stopped for supper tonight and had a beef and rice bowl. Food was cooked and well presented. But there was way too much sauce. The sauce had soaked the entire bowl and right to the bottom of the rice. You could see no white rice in the bowl, all soaked in sauce. It would of been tasty, except all you could taste was the overwhelming sauce, which ruined the meal.
