I haven't tried anything but the Peppered black bean Crispy Noodle Bowel but that's because it's soo good that I can't justify ot ordering it. And the meal itself is so filling I couldn't possibly order more.I do want to try the brisket stew though. That will definitely be my next order.
Restaurant refused to provide an ingredient on the side that was part of the dish originally and was paid for, 10c for a small takeout container was apparently out of the budget. Store attendant was condescending when I was explaining that it hadn't been an issue in the past, implied I was lying.Online store offered a dish for free for first order, but was removed later on in the ordering process without notification, so someone didn't get a meal.
People who love rice like me should try this place ! The taste, The quantity and The Quality is Great ! Their Prices are not too expensive but you can have a full fledged whole meal that will keep you full until your next meal ! I’m talking only about their rice bowls ! Haven’t tried the starters yet !
Worst customer service in the restaurant. I ordered through Skip the Dishes and my order was missing two items. I called the restaurant and all I got was “oh it’s here the driver left the other bag”.” So I asked if it was still going to be delivered to my place and the lady just said “oh we don’t know because it doesn’t appear on my screen anymore.” They could at least give it to another driver to deliver it, at their expense, because it’s obviously their fault they didn’t expedite their orders efficiently.
Normally love this place, but lately they have been getting orders wrong (missing sauce or other items) in both pickup and delivery. Yesterday finally put me over the edge, in the sense I wanted to reach out to them but couldn't find an email address to write too. Hence, Google review seemed appropriate.I went to pickup an order after placing one online. Their packaging is tight, so I grabbed my bag and headed home. Upon arriving home, we noticed one of the sauces was missing for our bowl. My wife called them while I readied to make the drive back. At this point, it was no big deal as mistakes happen. Upon arrival, I was fully expected a "normal" service response that consisted of "sorry about forgetting your sauce, here it is"; instead, I awkwardly stood around waiting for the manager (?) to speak with their kitchen team concerning my $1 value of sauce. I don't understand mandarin / cantonese, but it was obvious (gestures, tone) that me (customer) was potentially lying about receiving the sauce.I've never experienced this in my life and I have been a frequent visitor of the restaurant. I was then told that they were "certain" that the sauce was included, and insinuated that I either a) didn't look hard enough in the packaging, or b) was lying. They then reluctantly gave me the sauce without an apology or anything, despite having driven 20 minutes to get it.I couldn't believe the treatment. Reading other reviews, it is clear that the Callingwood location's customer service has dropped. I just never thought you'd blame a customer for your own error.

Really great quality for the price. I often find the wait is long - but I'd be suspicious if good food came too quickly. It's worth the wait, I'd check it out if you haven't tried it before.
Food is normally good, if it can just get done properly. Have had order mistakes, delivery order no shows. Customer service leaves a lot to be desired. Either they argue with you or you don't get anywhere. Most recent time, ordered delivery online, 2 hrs later after multiple phone calls where they insisted it's coming or that they already dropped off, they finally said their delivery driver's car wasn't working.
