Always a brilliant dining experience at Rge Rd. High quality ingredients, innovative creations and such a beautiful space (warm dining room and a lively bar side area). It's a farm to table concept and everything is so well done. The team at the restaurant were also fabulous in working with us to support my partner's dietary restrictions. The only small comment I have is on this night I found the service to be a bit stuffy/forced - too business like. I am seeing modern dining experiences are not so formal anymore in service delivery based on our experiences of top restaurants in North America. It's usually more relaxed, conversational and, dare I say, genuine or even fun. But that may be the brand here. Nevertheless, it doesn't take away from a superb experience. It's no wonder you can rarely find a seat here on short notice.Five stars!

Great food, absolutely atrocious sevice. We informed the server at the beginning that we would split our bill individually which she said was fine. After finishing our meal we were informed that was not possible and spent the next 20 mins doing the math for them, as apparently this was now impossible.Normally we would just pay an equal portion (as they quite condescendingly suggested we do..) however only some of us ordered several drinks on the understanding that their modern restaurant software would be capable of a simple bill split.Additionally our waitress was quite rude. In the end, after we sorted out the amounts, they came back with a split bill which was apparently possible all along. As much as I love the food I would never return. Good, expensive food should be commensurate with good service and this was woefully lacking.

Amazing food and amazing service. Our waitor was very helpful in understanding what they were offering that night. Celebrated a birthday there and they provided a nice card with a recipe for cookies, loved it! Had a old fashion and it was delicious, their drink specials for the night were also amazing. Just fantastic! Will need to try the road trip one day.

Thank you Rge Rd for an incredible evening. We were celebrating a work event and service and food was spectacular. We love your quiet, cozy room and intimate setting. Our table of six enjoyed the road trip, your Crusted Berkshire with the celeriac parsnip purée was to die for. Absolutely incredible contrast of textures, remarkable flavour, fresh ingredients, seasoning, presentation. All of the dishes were fantastic as always.Thank you again

Great ambiance, great restaurant for a date night, which was the purpose of my visit. Ordered for starters roasted beet and pear salad and Pilatus bison. Forget the drinks or what my date ordered but I definitely enjoyed their signature cocktails. Loved the food. The best Bison I've ever had. Highly recommended but make sure you have a reservation.

The road trip (6 course) meal was incredible!! What a great dining experience - food was amazing!

This is the second time that I was unimpressed by this restaurant. When I spend $200 for 2 (1 drink each), I expect an exceptional meal. It took 45 min to get our drinks, then things sped up. Appetizers were excellent (mushrooms especially, perogies my husband loved but I felt were nothing special). If I had left after my appetizer I would have been happy. My Arctic Char was bland. The side was creative and healthy, which I loved, but lacked flavour. The worst thing, the fish skin was soggy. I keep reminding my self not to go back, and keep forgetting.

I can't give one star because the personel was super nice and the abmient was great. We went with the "Road trip" because we have seen all the good reviews and it was a totally disapointment. We got 6 plates in total, nice decorated but there was not even 200 grams of food in 6 plates and the taste was also nothing special, all spices and ingridiens did not go well togetherI have never in my life payed more money for so small portions and no special tase.

Wow, what a hidden gem. My first visit. Quaint rustic, woodsy dining room. The food was the standout. Had: Grizzly Gouda & Potato Perogies (see picture). I'm Ukrainian, and not really a fan of fried perogies but the flavours of these and their side of sour cream were so flavourful. The Kitchen Board - a great charcuterie, fresh flavours and beautiful. Stone Fruit Salad (see picture) was stunning in presentation and very interesting flavoured goat cheese a plentiful. Note: the drink menu on their website is not up-to-date. Had a great gin (Betty something) and a daiquiri-styled drink was fantastic and not too sweet. Service was very good. COVID protocols excellent: open for dining for the vaccinated after showing your proof of inoculations and ID, wearing a mask to your table and staff in masks.
