This place has been in my to-go list for quite sometime now and this time I had the time to spare. I went here with my best friend since she too wanted to go here, both our first time. We were seated as soon as we arrived. The place has this comfortable ambiance and looks neat. We asked for some recommendations since it is our first time and we were very much thankful for the amazing dishes that we were given. They are all very delicious, even the presentation will already make you crave. They are just beautifully made.

Incredibly well prepared and conceptualized. Surprising and delicious. Chef Ben had us captivated from the moment we sat in the reception area. Best dining experience we’ve had in a long time.

I have come to Yarrow a couple times now to enjoy some cocktails and it has always been a lovely experience. I really enjoyed the intimate setting in the bar, makes it feel really cozy and a great place to sit and enjoy your time with friends. The cocktail menu is quite tasty and the bartender is very knowledgeable and able to make any other custom drinks that you may want. Though I haven’t tried the dining experience at Yarrow, we did order a couple snacks off of that bar menu; they were delicious and both chefs came out to check on us and ensure that we were having a great experience. This is a great place that knows how to make sure you have a an enjoyable time. I definitely recommend Yarrow and can’t wait to come back!

this restaurant is so cute, I love how the lights aren't that bright and the food looks amazing!

This is a unique experience you must try. The flavor combination is unlike I have tried anywhere else in Edmonton. Ingredients are fresh and each ingredient pares differently when combined or eaten separately - truly a journey.Service from Chefs Ben and Brett is next level, it's like having a front row seat to a culinary show. The meticulous work and care they put in the dishes, really shows in the flavors.I have been to both the sample menu and the full menu, pictures included are from the sample one. If you're not sure about it, go for either you will not regret. Sample menu is just as satiating as the full one and pop over to the bar for some great cocktails or ask for a custom one wine or cocktail to pair with dinner. Cheers ?

I've been fortunate enough to eat at Yarrow a half dozen times and every experience has been equivalently astonishing. From the moment you walk in you feel welcome; the environment is warm and inviting. You start your meal with snacks in a space reminiscent of a living-room; it's disarming. If you're social, you'll quickly make friends with fellow diners; if you'd rather remain anonymous, you can curl up in the corner and watch from a distance. Each little bite is whimsical yet precise - the flavours are clean and intense. The diners set the pace of the meal, so once you've eaten your fill of snacks you'll move into the heart of the restaurant: a small dining room centred on a hearth with a cozy fire. It's all in the details - they prize ghost service, you never have to ask for anything, it always magically appears at the right time. The meal starts off fresh focusing on raw seafood and high acid vegetable dishes that refresh, moving towards richer dishes near the end. Every single ingredient is sourced locally - they use Alberta beet sugar, BC salt, and have eschewed ingredients that can't survive our northern climate like black pepper. Their relationship with farmers and reliance on foraged ingredients (horseradish, wild blueberries, etc) ensure maximum quality in every dish. The dishes are minimalist, often comprising just 2-4 ingredients, but that show every permutation of that product (distilling, drying, candying, fermenting, pickling). Many of these dishes take weeks to prepare, and some ingredients will literally spend years ageing before their ready for the plate. Almost everything sees a little time on the hearth, picking up a touch of smoke. Wine service is equally wonderful, focusing on small family producers who farm sustainably and avoid additives in the winery. Their cocktail list is no different - they make their own amaros, bitters, syrups, and anything else you could possibly need using a wild array of techniques (centrifuges, vacuum distillers?!). After dinner you're rewarded with a small collection of one bite deserts while you unwind in the same room you started in. The price is more than justified, the attention to detail is unmatched, the meals I've had here are the best I've experienced anywhere on earth, I am preposterously full and satiated when I leave, and anyone who can't find joy in this restaurant is beyond saving.

Very personal and intimate experience, every dish delivered something new with amazing wine pairings. The chefs are very passionate and happy to share their experience with the guests.Would definitely go back

This is my second time going to Yarrow. The first time was for cocktails and the second was for their small menu dishes. Yarrow is a good place for drinks with friends, BUT I would stay far, far away from their small dishes or pop-up food offerings. From my experience there would not ever do that again. It was VERY expensive for food and they just nickel and dime you to death. As they say "death by paper cuts" I was disappointed.

Have been here twice and I will for sureeeee be coming back. I must spread the amazingness of this place to all my friends and fam who love food. Ben is super awesome and personable. You can really tell he has a serious passion for what he is doing. His friends/coworkers are pretty great too! Shout out to Reid! ;)

Last night we dined at Yarrow. It was a cozy experience we shared with 8 other guests at the same table while he chefs/ owners delicately prepared our meal in front of everyone. It was a culinary experience for both our eyes and pallets that we did not believe you could find in Edmonton. The flavours they elevated in many local ingredients was amazing. The service at the same table invited conversations between each other and the chefs such that you did not leave as strangers. A definite must for the foodies and anyone who wants to experience a very unique dining experience. 5 Stars !
