Holy ****! That was amazing. I walked in there like 1am. I left at 1:02 with the biggest dang donair I've ever had. It was sooooo good. And they were quick. I almost went to that loser quasadilla place across the street, I strongly suggest this place. Never ever eat anything other than this place.
I have a mixed review here. I have not been to Queen Donair in a long time but was walking by and picked up the Super Donair. It was amazing. A solid 5 stars. I also picked up 3 pieces of Baklava. It was by far the worst Baklava I have ever had in my life. It was so bad I threw away 2.5 pieces of it. I was very disappointed but what they sold me did not taste or look like any Baklava I have had in the past. It was just gross.
Went for lunch today and the two girls had one speed super slow, and not very friendly. The chicken for the salad was overcooked and chewy, had bones in it, and lots of gristle. It's kinda sad because the food use to be so good. I think the food and service was better at the old location.
Boy oh boy when I tell you this is the spot! Every single time they hit the spot just right and Amy is the sweetest person to deal with, specially on those busy after the bar nights. Swing by and show them so love, I promise you won’t regret it!
I’ve been enjoying donairs here for 20 years, absolutely love the quality and the people. I forgot my wallet there the other night, called two days later and they had it waiting for me. Unreal!! :)
I work as the security guard on site. I don't often have time to come into this establishment, but today I did. The staff are often friendly when I walk inside. What started off as an argument about keeping the back door locked, turned into a mutual respect as my time at the site extended.These people are generous with their portions and even help out the homeless with a meal often. The owner has a kind heart and takes pride in his establishment. The first time I ordered from here, I got a cheese Donair and it was super saucy on the outside, I could barely eat it without getting sauce on my face and risking the collar of my jacket becoming a mess. Here we are many months later and I ordered the chicken salad. It was exactly the experience I was looking for in a meal! The chicken was cooked right, the Taziki had lots of flavour and the vegetables were fresh and crunchy. I'm glad I stopped by and gave this restaurant a second chance because I feel nourished from the positive experience I had.
5 star service, 5 star donair! Staff was so friendly and very grateful for our business it was a please being there even before we got our donairs. We got them super fast, 4 of them within 2 minutes. This is at 1AM, during a bit pf a rush after an Oiler game, they were ready for it. Then we ate the donair, it was so good. I am going back to try the tater-tot donair poutine next!! If you like donairs, you NEED to go here!
Love the food and surprised by how fast it took to get ready. Its a little over priced cause I was charged $6 to make a cheese donair wrap a combo but the food is good so they will definitely see me again
They took my donair poutine order over the phone for pickup, and had it ready to assemble immediately when I arrived. Place was quiet, and they were clearly trying their hardest to earn my business (thanking me for it multiple times). Fries were great - crisp and fresh, and the portion of meat as generous as could possibly fit in the container.
If not the best, one of the best donair rice platters I have ever had. My only advice, one course is more than enough to feed two people and have extra left, I eat it all, ended up so full I can’t even walk back to my office, but it totally worth it. Screw KFC, this is finger licking good ???Service is great and the store is clean.
