cool inviting server, and the best veg pakoras and channa masala I've had in my life. highly recommend to anyone who likes delicious Indian food.
We have ordered from Nosh before and really enjoyed their food but tonight’s order was incredibly disappointing. The veggie korma sauce was flavourful, but where usually there is fresh cauliflower, carrots and potatoes, tonight’s was just frozen mixed vegetables. For 13$, we expect higher quality.We will not be ordering from Nosh again.
I've been ordering from this location for years, and if you'd asked me a month ago who had the best Indian food in Edmonton, I would have told you Nosh, no contest.The past couple months I've ordered from them 3 times, the same exact thing I've been ordering for years. Coconut curry chicken, and a vegan butter chicken with cocunut rice and garlic naan.The first order was frankly inedible and missing the naan. Both currys had been changed to something resembling a watery soup and the fake meat in the vegan order was absolutely disgusting.The second order several weeks later was similar, extremely watered down, almost no chicken at all in the cocunut curry, and again the fake meat was totally different in the butter chicken and absolutely revolting.The third time they straight up cancelled our order, maybe we've been black balled? No idea. I'd never actually had an ordered cancelled with skip before in ten years of using the platform.It's extremely sad because this restaurant used to be amazing and we would order almost once a week from them. Maybe it's the rising cost of food, or the pandemic, but this place is absolutely awful now and should be avoided.Their skip score has also dropped from a 10 to 8.7 in 2 months so something definitely happened.

I ordered a lamb biryani a few weeks ago (which I have done several times in the past) and unfortunately it was extremely salty. I assumed this was just a one-off mistake as I've never had this issue before but I decided to call the restaurant anyways just to inform them what had happened. Vijay was very apologetic and even promised me a complimentary order my next visit. I went to pick up an order of lamp biryani today and I was very touched when Vijay honored his word, and I have to say the biryani was absolutely delicious. It's wonderful to experience such heartfelt customer service.
Eaten here a few times, food is good enough but oily. We recently placed a big order, over $100 worth of food for pickup. The lady was rude when we picked it up, and only when we got home did we realize half the order was messed up. My husband drove all the way back to the restaurant cause we couldn’t get ahold of them over the phone, only to be told by the same lady that he was a liar.. he then had to pay for another meal otherwise he wouldn’t have had any food.Completely ridiculous, we will not be coming back, and will be recommending people don’t eat here due to the horrible service we experienced, especially when spending that much money.
Not a good option for lunch. Went here with 4 others for lunch. There were only three lunch menu options which none of us were interested in. The menu is set up differently, you can only buy a large size portion and you have to buy your meal in large individual portions getting pretty pricy. This made having a quick lunch impossible. We were the only ones there for lunch and It took 35 mins for the food to be ready unfortunately taking up our whole lunch so we didn't get to eat the food we spent an arm and a leg on and spent half an hour waiting for. It would be nice if they offered smaller portions for lunches with more then three options... I suggest you call well ahead of time if you are ordering lunch. The food was good, it just took too long to enjoy fresh.
The vegan chicken was so convincing I called in thinking they had put real meat in by mistake!Great food, reasonable prices, excellent customer service and they take their vegan orders very seriously! Would highly recommend.
I went there today for lunch based on Google Reviews. I was very disappointed with the service and food. The waitress was not welcoming when we entered the restaurant . The body language was like " Why are you here now?"Ordered Onion masala Dosa and Paneer Palak Dosa. The dosa was made of Instant Dosa mix ( not fermented Batter ). Not crispy and almost zero oil. Palak paneer masala was 70% potato with paneer here and there . Remaining was boiled spinach with not taste. One thing that was exceptional was the Sambhar . My wife wasted half of the food.Worst Dosa I had ever had in Edmonton. I would not go there again.
Food was not the best just average. The catch is they post discounts on their adds and do not pass on the discounts. When you check on the bill you end up paying the full amount. Cost advertised actually charged are different. Will never go to this place again.
