This is a lovely place. I went here in junior high and loved their friendly service so I kept going, come high school I took Chinese and used their menu to help me learn. I now have graduated high school and have started taking my girlfriend here and she loves this place as well.Keep up the great work!!!!!
Family run. Smaller and limited menu. Food decent, good service. You get to choose your soup, toppings then noodles. Have a good selection of side dishes too
Been here many times, would definitely go back. The waitress was super friendly and helpful. The food amount and taste are excellent as ever ??
While visiting Edmonton, we decided to try this place for lunch. Initially we didn't really know it was there as there aren’t many signs outside, we found this place by looking up reviews, very happy we tried it. My group and I ordered two custom build your own soups, one calamari, one order of spring rolls, and one spicy won ton. The first thing we noticed is the southern take on these dishes, it really reminded us of the style of food in Hong Kong, especially the spicy won ton appetizer. The calamari was fairly a standard, the dipping sauce was a nice addition, the spring rolls were good. As for the main course, the soups had excellent broths and the customization from noodles, to broth to meat and vegetables was great, it’s not every day you can find a place that offers this variety of Chinese style soups. My partner and I both really enjoyed the soup here and recommend if your looking for a good lunch to try it.
First time trying Hotpot Rice & Beef Brisket in Spicy Little Sheep Broth and it was AMAZING.#1 Chinese noodle place so far :)
Who would have ever thought that within this unassuming establishment would house such amazing food. This place is in a rougher part of town on busy 107 Avenue. You get to the restaurant by parking in the tiny back lot and walking through the back door. I had to try it because it had so many reviews. This is Hong Kong style cooking. So the soup I ordered was definitely not Vietnamese (pho), Japanese (ramen), or other forms of Asian soup styles. It was completely foreign to me. I had the spicy little sheep with flat rice noodles and brisket. It took me a while to get used to the flavors but after a few bites, I could see why people were so attached. It is delicious. And they are so generous. Check out my photo from before I pour the soup in...the bowl is completely full. ?The lady taking my order was SO helpful and sweet. She also recommended the spicy wontons cooked in spicy Szichuan. All in all, a completely different experience from anything I've ever had. Huge compliments. I will be back.
Driving or walking pass this place you wouldn’t think twice about going inside. Luckily we read the reviews and it did not disappoint! We created our own bowl for $13.75 and got the laksa and the little sheep broth. Both were delicious and flavourful. The beef brisket was tender and literally melts in your mouth. The meat balls were voluptuous and tasty ?. All good things to say about this place and can’t wait to go back and try their other soups and items!
We've been a few times and it's been pretty good. Sunday's though seem to be their day to just use leftovers. Same soup of the day and a lack of crisp flavor. Definitely recommend for a fine lunch but would avoid Sunday.
Very good soup. ?
Was pleasantly surprised by this spot! So many noodle spots either lack variety or quality but Noodleholics has both. Tremendous service and portion size as well. The ambiance leaves something to be desired but not nearly as important as the former IMO. I recommend the spicy little sheep broth with thin egg noodles!
