First time eating here, it was an amazing experience. The food was incredible, watching the chefs prepare and serve the dishes was great fun. Definitely recommend this restaurant and I will be visiting again!

Easily THE best sushi we have ever had. I think we’ve tried almost everything on the menu at this point. Everything is so amazingly fresh and prepared so well with so much care. The owner is kind and friendly!!! Will recommend this place to everyone as our #1 place to eat in edmonton. Incredible

Tom is a wonderful sushi chef. Attentive staff. High quality sashimi. Skillful preparation of the fish. Intimate space. 10 seats. Omakase only on weekends, so book in advance. If you can't wait, go during weekdays!Sarah is a wonderful host, Chef Tom & team are talented!!We used to order for take out from his ghost kitchen, and we are so glad he has his own restaurant. The experience is divine. Such high class, one of my best sushi experiences in Edmonton, AB.

This is my first visit to Tom's restaurant. As expected, his attention to detail is exhibited in his craftsmanship. The udon was very good and not too heavy. The broth was amazing and hit the spot on a cold winter day.The sashimi was presented in a fashion becoming of its quality. Moonga Sashimi is a must visit stop in Edmonton, especially if you are craving Japanese cuisine!

Oh heck yeah, this was my first omakase experience and was surprised, but very happy, that it was in Edmonton. I honestly didn’t know Moonga existed until a couple of weeks ago, but it’s in a small location at the corner of a strip mall near Century Park, so it is quite hidden to this northsider. This was perhaps the best sashimi I’ve ever had - it all tasted incredibly fresh and delectable. They even served us Kobe wagyu beef which we didn’t even eat when we visited Japan - it too was amazing. We paid $150 pp so it’s not cheap and a definite splurge, but totally worth it if you love sushi, seafood and Japanese food in general. The services was excellent as well.

Had great food with great company. If you're looking for best sushi in Edmonton, this is the place to go. We personally tried the Omakase and the interaction with with Chef Moon was lovely.Price is slightly expensive but the quality js guarenteed. Atmosphere is also great for those wanting more authentic experiences.

In my opinion this is the place to go for amazing omakaze. It's a intimate space with only a bar seating area for the best view of the preparation and skills involved in preparing flavorful and beautiful dishes. Each dish is great with a menu that shows care and thought was put into it.All the fishes and items were very fresh and I believe worth every penny. This is quality and flavours I expect from a great place in Vancouver or Toronto, but we are so lucky to have one in Edmonton.I went in late December and tried to book after the meal for January and they were fully booked until February and so I booked for February. The price is not cheap so expect to pay a pretty penny, but what you get is well worth it.

Book the Omakase menu on Christmas Eve, was lucky to get my family in as it’s always booked up. Price was $200/pp but was worth it. The dishes they used was so beautiful that made the presentation pleasing to the eye. Whole night was just perfection as it’s very intimate dining experience with only 10 seats. Mostly raw fish, but I loved the udon noodle soup, very nice on a cold Edmonton night.

Xtra large takeout platter. Feeds about 6-7 depending how fat you are. Need more wasabi

It was good! Sashimi piece is pretty big and fresh. loved the udon.
