Food was delicious, but also the service was so great. Exactly right amount for each table I saw. I was very pleased, would recommend!
Absolutely delicious! Came in for lunch at around 3PM and the place was practically empty. There’s a lot of seating on the inside and a large patio for seating. Place was very clean and had a cool aesthetic.We weren’t that hungry so we ordered half a brisket and half pork ribs. The food came out pretty quick.We tried the brisket and pork ribs on its own and then with each of the 4 sauces they provide. On its own both tasted flavourful enough already and the meat was very tender and moist. The sauces were very good. The mustard was my girlfriends favourite and I liked the spicy. The cherry and bourdon tasted similar to the spicy with hints of sweetness and alcohol on each. The sauces were sweet and a bit tangy.We plan to come back to try the other meats here. Highly recommend this place for a meat lovers paradise!
Hmm where to start, the ribs was a little bit tough and the garlic fries where was garlic. The pulled pork sandwich was pretty good along with burnt pork belly ends. What I must say the service was great and the food came out pretty quick. The location is excellent with an outdoor patio.
For my taste, beef brisket was fatty… you need to be a meat lover to enjoy the meat.The house salad and coleslaw was very tasty, and the winner was crispy garlic fries.Staff was friendly and they answered to all my questions.
If we have friends or family visiting and they want to try something good we always suggest MEAT. I've been a fan of their pulled pork sandwich and garlic fries for years now and I appreciate their consistency. If we go with a group of 3 or more we will get a BBQ share platter and a couple of sides to split. Majority of the cocktails are made with bourbon but are all pretty good. They also have a solid beer list which pairs well with the food.

What a complete BBQ meat experience. Their honey butter cornbread is soooo good. Actually everything, brisket, pulled pork, Mac and cheese, sausage, pork belly, and salad were all cooked to perfection and delicious. The meats were all juicy and tender. The garlic fries were so flavourful.A highlight were their 4 BBQ sauces available at each table. The flavors were bourbon, spicy, mustard, and cherry. The cherry and bourbon tasted so much like really cherry jam and real bourbon!Very impressed and enjoyed dinner here. What a wonderful way to celebrate meat in Alberta.
This is the meat sampler. We enjoyed the beef brisket and the ribs. The bourbon and cherry sauce they have are very good that I can't resist not buying a bottle for myself to take home. I like that the place is more on the casual dining vibe so it's not an issue if I brought little people with me. The servers are nice too! Will go back to this place again.
This place is excellent! We stopped in for brunch. Simple interior design, but really....we were here to eat not critique decor schemes, but I digress. Our server was knowledgeable and got us going with drinks right away. I had the MEAT Bourbon Caesar. Epic. Buffalo Trace "washed" with brisket. Complicated explanation, but sooooo worth it. Meals were brisket Benny and chicken and waffles - both fresh, hot and quick from order to table. Brisket smoke was amazing - not overpowering. Chicken batter crisp with nice seasoning. The selection of bbq sauces is what you might expect. Cherry was very tasty. We also had a couple beers, locally brewed. Also great! I highly recommend MEAT! Noteworthy: dog friendly patio.
This place is so delicious and the service is amazing! Friendly staff, clean restaurant and restrooms, great food and atmosphere.We had a spicy chicken sandwich, and the sauce was smoky and tangy without the usual vinegar flavor.The ribs also fall off the bone all the sides are amazing!Definitely try the cornbread!
