Great custmer service staff are very understanding to my disabilaty and anxiety issues very patient with both me and my support worker when I need to take my time at the till very helpful on helping me stay on budget even though that's not part of their job amazing staff working their usually have no promblem getting what I need fruit tends to be freshest in the summer when it's in season but that's just cause I'm limited to berries due to my keto diet not the stores promblem I'm sure winter fruit is fresh as well I've been shopping here for 9 years will continue to shop here only complaint is could you please lower the price on pc smokies as they are cheaper at superstore but I say that with a smile
July 11 was my first visit to this location. I am shocked, but not amazed that the store appeared much better cared for than then the Windermere superstore. it's amazing how when someone puts their name on the store and actually takes ownership of the end product things aren't disgusting, and products have prices. selection is limited, but offerings are good for everyday essentials.
This is one of the better grocery stores to shop at on the south side of Edmonton. Most of the other stores are either over priced or the fresh food I am after is not so fresh. Matt and Ashley’s No Frills has been one of my go to stores for almost 3 years now and I won’t be changing any time soon! I always have a great shopping experience at their store and have yet to have a bad experience.I will say, the line ups to cash out get pretty lengthy, but, the staff and service is top notch as they try to get all customers on their way as quickly as possible. Sometimes it would be nice to see all the cash registers open, but, I understand it may not always be possible or feasible.Th so you to all the staff who continue to make our shopping experiences nothing short of exceptional.
Manager followed us into the parking lot to check receipts over a can of tomatoes that I had rightfully paid for. She picked a fight, started shouting at us, and when I dug through our bags to prove we had paid for everything - did not apologise, did not admit any wrong-doing, did not show any empathy, only instructed me to "make sure I'm not stealing".I usually spend a thousand dollars a month at this particular store for my family's groceries. I will never spend another cent in a Loblaws-owned store as long as I live; this is an appalling way to treat a customer that literally spends upwards of twelve thousand dollars a year on you.I honestly cannot believe stuff like this happens in real life. I'm not wealthy by any means; boycotting T&T, Superstore, No Frills, and the other million stores that Loblaws owns is going to hurt my wallet. But I think it's reasonable for me to go out of my way to not shop with a company that hires a manager who takes pride in doing this to customers.Janice? Judy? Jennifer? Whoever the manager was at 11:00 AM on the 15th of June 2022; I hope you get the help you need.
They dont hire enough cashiers. They refuse to give you a cart if you dont have a loonie.the parking lot looks like the surface of the moon.
I bought these two items on April 23. The chocolate one is dated as MY1022, the strawberry one is dated as NO1621. I thought it was expired on November 16 last year. So I brought the strawberry one there to return. BUT the staff told me it’s production date not expiration date. Even I told them I got a chocolate one dated in 2022. The staff affirmed that they don’t sell expiration food. So that means they can find a way transport item from the future! Very impressive with their superpower dealing with their customers! I wish they can also transport some clients from the future, otherwise no one is willing to visit them if they are not honest to people.

Great neighbourhood grocery store. they have very great and affordable foods. its also located next to the best pharmacy and medical clinic ever. extremely convenient to book an appointment, then go shopping until the doctors are ready to see me. awesome store
The best thing that's happened in our neighborhood! Cannot possibly adequately express our thanks, Matt & Ashley, for taking this on. After all this time we're still thrilled about the ease of access to such a complete grocery inventory. The store is always clean & well stocked. The staff are always friendly & very helpful (we know this to invariably be a reflection of the management). Quick checkouts significantly aided by the 6 or 8 self-checkout stations. Humungoid parking lot. Totally wheelchair accessible. Matt & Ashley's No Frills is proof that there is a God! ?
