Both me and my husband are big time foodies and we swear by Masala Tree’s food . The taste is authentic and has never ever disappointed us . The chef is doing a great job , we have tried butter chicken, karai chicken, biryani, paneer lababdar and everything is just delicious. Portion sizes are great, food quality is amazing .Negative- Customer service for dine is a hit and miss. If the manger is serving , its good but there are days that they will take 5-10 minutes to even acknowledge people waiting to be seated. May want to train/hire more people.Anyway, we love to order take out from this restaurant as its closer to our neighborhood.
I have been to Masala Tree restaurant couple times before and the food tasted delicious, so today I planned a surprise lunch date with my son. He enjoyed the food and mentioned that it tasted very yummy, delicious and that it just melted in his mouth. I will definitely be planning more lunch dates with my kiddo to this restaurant. Kudos to the chef. Thank you Masala Tree for mouth watering food. We love it.
We are from Vancouver & drop by this place by a random pick. The place itself is gorgeous with fancy decor. The guy who was serving food was really nice and food is delicious too though the portion is a bit small. My favorite is the paneer butter masala. Everyone enjoyed the whole food. Their desserts menu seems nice but didn’t get chance to try it this time. I will highly recommend this place to everyone !! Good luck guys
First time ordering from the Masala Tree was last week and I have to say it was absolutely amazing. The portion sizes and flavours in the dishes we ordered were by far the best I’ve had in a long time. We will definitely be back.
Just wow!!! We ordered medium spiced goat biryani ($17CAD) and what a taste!!! The amount was so generous and good for two person easily. The amount of meat was just more than perfect. The sitting arrangement is really open and cozy. I am highly recommend you to visit this place. So far the best one in windermere-terwillegar area.

The best Indian restaurant in the city. Every dish we've tried has been delicious. The butter chicken, mango chicken curry lamb vindaloo are especially good. Also the lababdar chicken is worth a try it's also super delicious. The garlic naan is always cooked perfectly. Our only complaint is that they are not consistent with the spice level. Sometimes medium is very spicy which is great but other times we order medium and it's not spicy at all. Can't risk ordering spicy though because when it's spicy it's very spicy!! Despite this it's worth it since the food is so good but really wished they were consistent.
Soooooooo good! All of our food was perfect! We have found a new Indian spot. I highly recommend going here.
Delicious food at a reasonable price point - and generous portion sizes. The server was helpful and frequently checked if we needed anything, and the chef came out to check how the food was - he was very friendly! Great experience overall!
