The staff entertained my 3 year old daughters sampling with a smile. Great ice cream, small location, even though it was busy, service was fast but not rushed.
I’m going to start by saying I am 9 months pregnant and have been craving a specific type of ice cream, that only comes out in the summer, for the entire 9 months… so when I ordered two litres of it, I apologized because it was busy and I could tell they were working hard. The first two women who helped me were very friendly and fast! Though it was mixed so fast, the mixins in the litres weren’t well combined, I can understand that though, since there was quite the line up for that time of night. When we got to the till, the woman working it was just plain rude with a mega attitude. She wouldn’t sell me to-go cones because “they were out of bags” meanwhile they had just put my ice cream pints in a bag… they clearly weren’t out. She also told me they were no longer doing loyalty points on the app. I can’t find anything about this online, my app had a code to use… Just rude demeanour and really seemed like she hated her job and or people in general? On top of that…. They don’t clean off the slab between customers, so you get a mix of random flavours in your overpriced ice cream. My partner got peanut butter and it didn’t taste like peanut butter because of all of the different flavours from other customers. I saw them mix coffee ice cream on top of grape ice cream… I doubt that tasted good. For what you pay, you’d hope to have a better experience. Thank you to the two staff that were kind and fast with my large order, I appreciate it!
I came here with my friends a couple of days ago to get an end of the night treat. The ice cream was a little pricey for the portion size but ultimately worth it for how tasty it was. The girls helping us were friendly, efficient and made the experience worth while. My only problem was that I overheard some of the workers talking about how they only receive a 15 minute break when working 5+ hours. As someone who has worked a food service and retail for the last 8 years, I know that this unethical and illegal according to Alberta law. Although we had a splendid experience hearing this really soured the mood for my friends and I. It’s 2022 and mangers are still taking advantage of workers. I will be contacting management.
The ice cream is great. But when I went there, there was only one girl working. A kind Filipina. I don't know. The line up was pretty bad, but there really should be more staff helping her out, especially on hot days, she was so busy but she still managed to keep a smile on her face with great customer service. I don't know how much she gets paid, but it shld be more.
It was too bad I’ve gone twice. The only problem I’ve had was the spoons. The spoons always had hair on them, I told a team member about it but she looked at the container of spoons and claimed that there want any hair in them. Every time I go there there’s always hair in the spoons container. Great ice cream but needs better protocols about cleanliness.
Worst service! It was my boyfriend’s first time at a marble slab - I’m embarrassed that I hyped it up to him.There was nobody else waiting yet the 2 girls rushed us as if we were holding up a line… do they not get paid hourly?This girl straight up rolled her eyes at me and made it CLEAR how annoyed she was that I made her repeat herself, yet they have the music weirdly loud.Would recommended this store to anyone who likes over-priced ice cream served by miserable people :)

This marble slab location is an absolute nightmare to work for.Wasn’t even there two months and everything from the manager to the protocols were absolutely appalling.•Corrosive and toxic cleaning solutions are used in the same containers that toppings are served in. Not only that, but the employees are told to use their bare hands (no cleaning gloves at location) while using the cleaning products.•The manager is never in store and watched the cameras every second, to the point where we would fake working so it looked like we were busy. You'd be lucky to be able to sit down.•Although breaks were unpaid, leaving the store for the entirety of your break was not allowed.•Tax forms and an employee contract was never given by the manager (I had to ask multiple times for an employee contract and was treated horribly for doing so).•Open food boxes were stored next to mice traps in the back (toppings)•The manager is very unaccommodating and refused to allow leave for an immediate families wedding.•I received a call asking why I had been in the bathroom, which is not only a disrespectful question but self explanatory.•Not to mention the blatant racism I faced when I was told I “look the job”, that was all I was told at the 5 minute interview as the reason I was hired.I later found out it’s because all of his employees are south Asian.The list goes on, I will be contacting marble slab head quarters about this issue as the manager is unfit for this job.
