I have never experienced such joy before. the ice cream is such good quality and it’s incredibly creamy. the flavours the have are insane and delicious. the staff is always super nice, ask if you’re comfortable with trace alcohol amounts, ask for allergies, and are always super considerate. the price for the ice cream is crazy good considering the taste texture and quality. i’ve brought my friends here and they adore it too. it’s a must have stop in edmonton. here’s a photo of my “happy camper sundae” which is just classic vanilla with chocolate syrup, but somehow still managed to make me see stars.

I am extremely disappointed with this company. I love to support local and try new things. I ordered from the seasonal pint club delivery service. I really like that right away it asks if you have any allergies and provides substitution options if the flavors contain an allergen. In this case, my sister has a very severe nut allergy so of course I indicated that and chose a substitute flavor. Unfortunately none of the flavors have descriptions so it's unknow what the ingredients are. It indicates on the website that a 3 month subscription is $41.40. It does not say anything about that being a monthly payment, just $41.40 for 3 months.Fast forward and I get contacted by Nicole Haywood a representative of Made by Marcus who politely reached out to let me know that the substitution flavor I chose contains nuts but not to worry none of this months flavors have any nuts. Wow I thought this was excellent customer service!Fast forward again to my shipment. I was so excited only to be immediately disappointed by the flavors that arrived, they had very unique names such as "Pesche Cookie" which I had never heard of, nor did the container provide a description. I noticed the pints had no ingredients or nutritional info which I found to be odd given the Canadian Food Inspection Agency requirements. One of the pints was red in color and indicated it was a dairy free frozen dessert. After trying it both my sister and I immediately felt unwell and found that none of the four pints tasted good at all. I the looked at the "dairy free frozen dessert" pint and noticed it says MADE WITH CASHEW MILK. We immediately panicked as my sister had just consumed this and is severely allergic, luckily she only had a spoonful (since it didn't taste good) and was able to handle the reaction without the use of her epi pen. I was shocked and confused as I was told directly through email that none of these products contained nuts. I immediately called the store and sent and email and was told to await an email back.Long story short, after multiple emails back and forth with Nicole after she would not speak to me on the phone she agreed to cancel my subscription, however no offer of a refund, a quick "sorry you were misled by our packaging" and being informed that the packaging is INCORRECT and no nuts were used. I'm left confused and shocked that a company that takes an allergy conscious approach would be so indifferent with an incident such as this. Side note.. I was informed that I was only charged for one month $41.40 so heads up that this is the cost for FOUR pints, not a 3 month subscription as the website reads.

First time here. We lucked out with the line up (which have seen stretch all the way back to the ave). The flavour selection was limited (3pm on a Sunday. Apparently the weekend always brings a shortage to the flavours.) We had Earl Grey Financier Raspberry, Lemon Saffron Coconut (vegan), Malted Chocolate Honeycomb, and a seasonal flavour Malted Mini Egg. Everyone loved them. The malted chocolate was a little rich. One of the best things about this place is the fresh made waffle cones. The smell is infectious and makes it hard to say no.Good serving sizes and excellent customer service. We will be back.

WOW-i just read on facebook a lady’s terrible customer service she had with MADE BY MARCUS and disgusting business ethics they displayed!!! She bought into your “subscription” scam in which she received 4-5 different flavour of your pints every couple of months. She said when she ordered her flavours it asked if there were any allergies to which she responded yes her sister had sever nut allergies. She also received a phone call ensuring her that was no problem and she would not receive any pints with nuts or tree nuts. She said she received her first shipment and was extremely disappointed as there’s no ingredients labelled on the pints or any nutritional information ~~~this is actually against the law! To not have ingredients listed is pathetic and quite frankly life-threatening to many many people from MSG allergies to nut allergies to milk allergies. She was also disappointed as the only thing on the pints was the name such as “peach peche”which do we need to Google what this even is before we consume it? She and her sister each had a spoonful of the dairy free product and when she went to pick it up and turned the pint around it said made with cashew milk !!!cashew is a nut !!!!!!! her sister immediately spit it out and got sick. Do you not understand the life-threatening status of a nut allergy??? When she contacted Nicole she said that she would not be refunding her her money or allow her to leave the subscription service. That is very shoddy and an unprofessional way of handling customers. It wasn’t that they just didn’t like it it literally threatened the life of her sister‘s .It further went on to say that Nicole refused to talk to her and then she finally agreed to withdraw her from her subscription but she refused to refund the money. I’m so happy that MADE BY MARCUS is overflowing with money while all the other business’ are crying as they are desperate for customers to support them!!! MADE BY MARCUS must be swimming in money that they can afford to turn off customers this way!!! I am outraged and would never ever ever support a business that does not stand behind their product. She should have received a full reimbursement and an apology at minimum so be careful all of you people suffering allergens ~~MADE BY MARCUS will be greedy and take your money but won’t communicate with you or find a mutual solution when a problem arises. They’ll snatch away your money and then once you’re out the door forget that you even supported them !!!! SHAME, SHAME SHAME on you MADE BY MARCUS. YOU HAVE ZERO INTEGRITY Selling illegal product with NO INGREDIENTS LABEL OR NUTRITIONAL FACTS IS A HUGE BREACH IN ETHICS IN THE FOOD INDUSTRY. I WOULD NEVER EVER EVER SUPPORT A BUSINESS WHO DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS; ESPECIALLY IN THIS CASE AS THERE CAN BE FATAL CONSEQUENCES DO BETTER MADE BY MARCUS???

Came all the way from Toronto to check this place out. I tried the chocolate lava cake and the hibiscus & grapefruit sorbet. Wowzers so the sorbet was everything I dreamed. Cashew based. Vegan. If you love grapefruit you'll love this. Tart. The CLC was also great. Could have done without the cake tbh. And more chocolate swirl! I actually went home and added nutella to mine and almost died. Not vegan.

Ever since the pandemic started we’ve shown up every months for the new. Always high anticipation then. Usually we eat pints but have been known to get an extra single scoop to eat right away. 2022 goal is accumulate enough stamps for a free ice cream and Also not lose my stamps. Very friendly staff. I recommend chocolate brownie fudge and prefer other vegan flavours that are not a sorbet like the snicker one last month. My family loves the chocolate honeycomb, both lychee and in particularly the Bernadette were a hit - everyone likes donuts. A picture of that label was sent to our friend Bernadette. She liked the thought but had never heard of Marcus ice cream. It was a shock! Keep on developing new flavours - especially cashew milk vegan.

*** MUST EAT - THE BEST ICE CREAM IN ALBERTA ***I was just really craving ice cream at the moment & was going to go get regular Ben and Jerry's from the supermarket but I'm so glad I decided to try this place out locally!PROS• you know it's a good ice cream place when the line is super long• i got a small tub to go of sea salt & goat milk caramel and I scarfed it down in one sitting.CONS• always busy - be sure to get there early or a bit earlier than you plan there is ALWAYS a line up.• parking is only available on main st or side streets, no parking lot anywhere.but honestly, came back here twice already in one month & man is it ever good!you definitely cannot go wrong with this place, it don't miss!will be back again if I'm ever back in the province!

While a little challenging to find (they're tucked down a small alley between two buildings off of Whyte), it is worth the effort to seek these folks out. The staff were very warm and friendly and the treats delightfully cold and creamy. They have a nice selection of vegan/dairy-free items that go beyond your typical mango and raspberry sorbets.

Best ice cream ever Lots of different tastes

They have one of the best sundaes I ever tied. The staff was very helpful and patient. Did try all the three sundaes, French kick, Happy camper & tropical feast. So far French kicks was the best!
