The favorite go-to shopping supermarket of Asians after TnT Supermarket! The meat section is the best and most affordably priced!
I love coming to this place to find some good asian foods. They have a large variety of stuff you won't really find in Walmart or the likes. I particularly enjoy eating the pho there. Not only is it cheap but delicious too. Same can be said about their banh mi.As for groceries and produce, their fruits are relatively cheap, though it might be wise to compare with another store like t&t. The quality is alright. And the meats are cheap. Be careful though, make sure you read the label and check the expiry date. You can find extremely cheap stuff if you're willing to purchase expired things.
Always clean, well run and stocked grocery store. Excellent selection for anything I have been on the lookout for. Extra shout-out to the food court. Tasty food to go and the people working it do a great job quickly preparing the meals. Well worth a drop in to see what they have to offer to make it part of your grocery routine.
I love the Pho soup in this place, you'll get it in 3 minutes, taste great (I've tried at least 10 different vietnamese restaurants) and they have a great price
Always a good nostalgic feeling after i leave the store. Makes me feel at home whenever i can buy asian produce and products
I always buy this boxes of shrimps and I notice today that it came in a saran wrap. I don't have a scale to prove my doubts but the contents is at least a quarter less. This usually come in a sealed factory box. I paid $12, maybe few bucks more than it used to be so I don't think it's fair to have a tampered box of shrimp, specially now that all the prices are rising. I might need to change where I shop from now on.
I recently moved into an apartment 5 minutes from this place. What a hidden gem! The produce is top quality, English language labels are well-translated for people like me, the selection of rice, pulses/legumes, and spices is amazing, and a selection of ingredients from corners of Asia I’ve not found elsewhere in Edmonton. A very clean and well-kept shop.
Lots of weird, cool and delicious food here if you're not customed to Asian food culture. Ido suggest taking a look inside. Lots of unique foods and sweets. Their instant rice noodle packet boxes are 100 times better than Raman. Their food bar is outstanding. Good soup, love Their sesame seed balls are amazing, if you get the chance I do suggest also buying some of their food at the food bar.
Went in on Christmas day to get some frozen juice and they had several signs up for then to be on sale. When at the checkout was then told it was only one flavor. Then had some canned soda that was scanning at the wrong price and the cashier refused to correct it. Saying that it can not be done. Went to customer service only to realize that it took a minute to make the change and that they do not follow the Scanning code of practice. Is this not mandatory in all stores that have a scanning system? I have worked in customer service for more than 20 years and this was one of the poorest customer service. Things need to change.
Beware of this place for expired products. Saw a lot of the products were expired on Expired date and they decided to just change expired date themselves. Make sure you are checking expired date first before you consume.
