The perfect accompaniment to the coffee at Transcend, looks n the same building! French goodness and yummy coffee. Great space to hang out and study or work. Or hang out.
The staff were helpful and friendly. The Cheese croissant was almost sinful it was so delicious. I ordered the Juliette cake and it blew everyone's mind.Very yummy stuff.
Great tasting macarons! Good options are the mimosa, Shirley Temple, blackberry cheesecake and salted caramel.
This is by far the best French bakery I found in Edmonton, and the closest to the authentic French bakeries owned by French immigrants in Quebec. You can taste that their ingredients are of very high quality. The croissants taste like they're made with imported butter, and same with the chocolatine. You can tell the chocolate is of high quality. And you can definitely taste the butter in the scones too. Yes, it's a little bit expensive, but it's the price to pay for baked goods made with imported ingredients. I will definitely go back.
This Grapefruit tart is just heavenly. Perfect balance of sweet and tart taste.
The attention to detail and unmatched commitment to quality is unbelievable!! This is hands down the best place in edmonton for french pastries, specifically the most mouth watering croissants. If you don't like standing in line, just preorder! And they so conveniently will have everything pre packed and ready to go for you!
They have perfect Macrons and delicious cakes and pies. The Duke is a decadent treat and the lime tart is an all time favorite.Dont count on any 'notes' being acknowledged for on line orders. I dont know why they even have a space for that when it's completely ignored. Disappointing on line service.
Located in a cool mall type of building; the store looked really welcoming, the staff were good (not excited, but also not dead), and the baked goods were very professionally layed out. The food was out of this world!
This is a little gem located inside the Rickie market building. You can find assorted bakingd and goodies to satisfy your sweet cravings or an elegant gift for a get together. You can purchase individual size or full size goodies, not to mention the cookies and macarons (variety of flavors) and of course baking goodies. Yea you can buy flour and chocolate to start your own baking. Staff are always polite and friendly and knowledgeable. Must stop and must shop local.
The Duchess brand in general equates to quality. The Little Ritchie location is no exception. While it is a small space with a limited offering unlike the 124th street location, there is still more than enough selection of amazing pastries, macarons, savory baked goods, cookies, loaves, croissants and pies to fill any craving. The staff is as friendly as ever with helpful opinions. The only downside is that they do not offer their own coffee/drinks menu here; Transcend is located directly beside and they are the coffee shop for the area. The coffee at Duchess on 124th is equally as good as the baked goods so we sorely miss it when visiting the Little Ritchie location. Transcend coffee is alright, on par with Second Cup. Regardless, Duchess is by far the best bakery in the Edmonton area.
