Small but yummy!Handmade Chinese noodles. Located on Whyte ave. The service isn't amazing (the most staff I have ever seen is 3 people in total - counting the kitchen) and the place is small. It gave me an authentic Chinese noodle house feel though. I say give it a try but expect service to be sub par. Lan Noodle serves soup and dry noodle dishes. It's not a typical "Westernized" Chinese/Asian cuisine place so please don't expect that. It's really more like Chef Hung's or Noodle Feast but smaller. My favorite is the handmade noodles with braised beef sauce. Just a FYI!
Lan Noodle makes beautiful bowls of savoury soup using fresh noodles that you can watch a chef make by hand through a window into the kitchen. Great spot for lunch or dinner.I've tried both vegan soup options. The sesame paste noodle is very rich and filling, while the spring onion oil is much more green and oily. I definitely recommend the handmade noodle with spring onion oil. There're also a few vegetarian appetizers, though they don't have the same little green heart that indicates vegan soups.

Went in here as we seen the fella spinning the noodles through the window. Yes, they make their own noodles fresh to order. I ordered the Curry soup and my wife ordered the house soup. The beef in the house soup was absolutely delicious and fall apart in the mouth. The broth in both was delicious and got better with every single bite. We both agreed the curry broth was a bit better overall though.I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves Asian fare and soups.
House special is my favorite, the broth is amazing! Tried spicy chicken and cucumber salad this time, also really good. Love this place !
Decent spot for noodles. Servers are all very friendly.I had their dry noodles with beef sauce for myself and it was good. It had a good amount of meat and not too much oil. I highly recommend their beef roll, it tastes like Peking duck and was probably the highlight of the meal.Overall everything was good, but not amazing imo. I'd come back time to time and maybe try some other things out.
The perfect bowl of soup for a winter day. The noodles are fresh and delicious and the broth is full of chili and beef. I highly recommend the house special.
Good service but quality of noodles could be better. I'm excited to have hand pulled noodles in Edmonton but they were inconsistent in thickness and both me and my partner had noodles that were clumped. Everything else was good so I hope that can be improved. Was also confused about temperature of some dishes. Got the chicken noodles to go and they were cold, but they are not described as cold noodles. I had the spring onion noodles both to go and to stay and they were very tasty. They check vaccination proof and your temperature. I saw a review accusing them of racism for turning away tourists and gave them 1 star. They are following the law, it's your responsibility to have the proper documents. Don't put staff in the position of breaking the law for your dinner. I saw the server get yelled at by a customer for turning them away for not having proof, and that's simply not fair.
Very big portion and good price. Soup can be more tasty and sliced beef is a bit overdone. Otherwise it will has a 5 star rating
Ridiculously good noodles hand pulled in front of you. I had the braised beef in spicy broth (house special). It was so good! Not too spicy. Would easily feed three of me and I was HUNGRY but we took home leftovers. Definitely recommend.
