First, their sides are all carbs -- rice, fries or mashed potatoes! Second, the hotness of their spicy fried chicken is only skin deep. I ordered 1 regular and 1 spicy fried chicken. So when my order arrived, I spread both chicken to see which is spicy as there was no sign which is spicy or regular. Last time I ordered spicy chicken, you can see the chilli oil inside which means it was cooked with the chilli and the spiciness is up to the meat and bones. So I brought it back nicely to the front and she showed it to someone who looked like a supervisor as the uniform looks different from others, light blue. Surprised, I saw the supervisor just put some chilli powder on top of the same regular chicken that I already spread open and tasted and then she just put the toothpick with a sign on it to identify 1 as spicy! That's so bizarre! So when the other lady gave it back to me, I asked it to be changed as I want the chicken cooked with spicy seasoning inside, not just a chilli powder put on the skin! She rudely grab back the tray and she asked another person to give me a new one without telling the supervisor and she turned her back against me without saying anything. I guess, if you have a supervisor who shows bad examples, you will have rude crews as well. To my disappointment when I tried the replaced spicy chicken, that's how they now really make their spicy chicken! They just put some chilli powder on top, not cooked with chilli seasoning inside the way they cook it before! No spiciness at all inside the chicken as it is just chilli powder on the skin. I feel very much cheated if Jollibee really changed the way they make the spicy fried chicken! Not sure if only this branch does this though.I put 2 stars as the regular chicken is still very good.

Just ordered here today via drive thru, they told as to wait at the parking for our burgers, WE WAITED FOR 40 MINUTES JUST TO GIVE US A WRONG ORDER!!! We are waiting for 6 burgers!! But they only give us 5! And the staff that gave me the wrong order was so rude don't even bother to check if she gave me the right one! Looks like doesn't even know what she's doing, we end up going inside the store just for them to give us the right order!! this place is ridiculous!!! Don't go to this jollibee! Staff and customer service was so bad!!!
I had to give you another star because of your kind reply. Your service was great and the restaurant was clean. It's just the food/spice blend was not of my personal liking. Judging by the steady stream of people in and out of your restaurant, there are a lot of people that love it.
Our first time at this restaurant and definitely won't be the last, first let me say the staff are super friendly. The spaghetti was amazing and the peach and mango pie was absolutely delicious, my husband got the chicken and would have preferred white meat but loved the fries and gravy, we are looking forward to our next visit.
I'm not sure why the food tastes different from the Philippines compared to what they serve here. It must be a core mental perception as to what I remember growing up compared to the commercialized version of the food. It's more geared towards the nostalgia rather than actually making the food better. It's an OK fried chicken. There are better options in Edmonton.
I really don’t get how this is so popular. That had to have been the blandest fried chicken I’ve ever had. Does Jollibee not use any spices? Do the people who love this place not have tastebuds?I’ll be sticking to Popeyes or Mary Browns. Even grocery store fried chicken is better than this.
A girl from drive through today with black long hair and dark skin gave me an attitude today, I think her name starts with S. I’m not sure if she had a bad day or what but she has no right to treat a costumer like this..she had a rude attitude and gave me the wrong order. While I was telling her my order she kept interrupting me which annoyed me.I also use to work there and it can be a toxic environment, the managers are unprofessional and discuss things about their workers personal life. Things such as their partners, issue with their families and school, and other things that they should not me meddling with. Two or three managers only care about the image of the store and does not care about their workers. When a costumer annoys them, they would speak in tagalog and say how rude, annoying or do bad things to that costumer..I know because I have also said that.
Tldr: It's meh.anf overpriced for what it is.I don't know what the hype is about this place. Maybe because it is new? Or a chain that has advertising? I don't get it. I have eaten a few items from their menu and am not impressed. It's meh. The food is nothing special and the prices are pretty steep compared to competition. Ei. Chicken Sando, cheaper and tastier at KFC about the same as Popeye's; I feel KFC is a better value for a big crunch. Their burgers are just burgers. And the rest of the menu is a weird "fusion" of ethnic restaurants that seem out of place together. Pick one thing and do it well, not 5 things mediocre.
Stopped by the other day to see what the hype was about this spot and the hype is real!! I gripped the jolli crispy chicken bucket treata. That chicken is oh so crispy baby!! it also came with the burger steaks which was like having a filet mignon smothered it in the most succulent mushroom gravy i have encountered. I finished up inhaling the 3 peach mango pies and took off... you got me singing Jollibee !
