Food was good, the waitress was nice. The problem was that the first part of the party was seated and was never served water until 20 min later, the rest of the party had already arrived. Then it took for ever to get the waitress to take our order. Once our order was taken everything went great. I know Covid hurt some companies but I will never eat here again if I'm paying!!!
I order their schzewan chicken lettuce wraps from Joey Mayfield all the time and they are amazing the blend of spices and they sauce is something I crave . I have eaten at Joey all over BC and now living in Alberta I order here. The portions are large and the taste is out of this world. Thanks Joey for consistency and for writing my name with a smiley face on the bag (few times) lol. Always delicious
Great first impression at this location! The pool/water table in the middle of the dining area gave the place a great ambience! Staff were efficient and pleasant. Food were tasty however a little pricey compared to the portion size. That was my only negative. Overall a good experience with my team.
Mothers Day. My husbands bun for his beef dip was burnt. My sirloin and lobster ravioli was sub par: steak was over cooked and the ravioli lacked lobster and the sauce was thin. In addition, the bathrooms were unacceptable Our server was excellent.
Excellent and consistent food and service. We have been out of Canada for 2 years and have been waiting to get to Joey’s. Such a good steak and wonderful servers.
Ok service in the lounge side. The waitress was great at telling stories but not good at bringing cutlery. Quality of food was good for the price. I would go there just to eat sushi cones. I think that is the best part of the restaurant. I will return.
Wow I just loved this place. I have been to the Bell Tower location twice but it was my first time experience at the Mayfield location. Ambience is great - you will have a nice water pool near the dining area. The food tasted soooo delicious, I ordered a BBQ salmon bowl with brown rice. This is one of the best food I've ever tasted, it's on my fav list now.
Went to Joey's for my wife's birthday dinner this past Saturday and it was one of the worst dining experiences we've ever had. First, I had called and booked the private room about a month in advance for a table of 12, yet when the party showed up at the restaurant, they said they had double booked it and decided to remove us and place us into the main dining area. They had promised us a round and drinks and a 25% discount on each guests bill as an apology, which they did not keep their word on. The drink orders were wrong for most of the guests. One of our friends had an allergic reaction to his meal and by the time anyone had come to see if he was alright and see if he wanted another meal, the rest of the table had been finished their meals for 30 minutes. It took 25 minutes to even get a beer and the pours were terrible as you can see in the picture I posted. At the end of the night, all of our bills were wrong and it took them 45 minutes to come back and give us our correct bill. The manager never once came over to our table to apologize. A terrible experience overall, and unfortunately turned what was supposed to be a good night, into a night of frustration and disappointment for everyone in our party.
