The night that I visited I was craving a Chicago med filet... Which I did order but read told that the only chef who could prepare it was not workingSo sadly I ordered the burger with mushrooms and cheddar. It was very good, but it wasn't steak.The food was good, the service not very. On a night when it was fairly empty I should have been better.
Ordered a medium rare steak for medium well at best. Would have sent it back but was on a short time line. If you cant cook a steak then don’t serve it.
Great location - minutes away from the arena. Excellent menu with lots of gluten free and vegetarian options. Decent cocktail list. Blackened chicken was great - crispy potato bacon salad is delightful. Crispy tofu bowl was perfect. Service on point. Prices reasonable. Will absolutely go again.
Typically my experience at Joey’s has been great but I thought I’d put a quick review this time as it was not my usual experience.I ordered a Caesar salad with chicken for take out and the quantity provided was not very good as the cost came out to about $22 which almost the same as many main entrees. And also the chicken was very cold and very minimal. Not sure if they took long to get it to me or it was sitting waiting to be packed up for me but nonetheless, it was not very good. I would not recommend getting the Caesar salad unless it’s only as a side and you’re dining in or else it’s definitely not worth it.The service as always was very good and the staff was super helpful!

I have been here a thousand times and really enjoy it. It's great for lunches, meetings, pre or post game drinks, appies and dinner, to hosting events. The staff is usually pretty switched on and the food is always consistently good.
Were in town for an Oiler game staying at the JW - after the game we weren't sure what to do for Dinner. Should we just stay at the hotel and try one of the restaurants or just take a walk.... decided to walk and stumbled upon Joey's - it was super busy after the game but we actually got seated really quickly compared to some of the larger groups. Service was really good - a little too fake sometimes it seemed. lol. My wife had the lobster/prawn pasta and I had the Filet meal... I usually don't go to places like this for a good steak meal but thought I would try it. The steak was actually very good but the asparagus that came with it was thread thin! For the cost of the meal here which was not crazy pricy but for the amount of food on my plate I think it was overpriced. Still good and hit the spot! Good location and casual atmosphere.
Everything. Atmosphere was fantastic. However, after we ate and they cleared everything it took quite a while before our bill came and then again to have someone come by for us to pay. Overall, service was great and we enjoyed our time. ❤️
I think we can all say we love Joey, now the Bell Tower is kinda not my favourite location simply because of parking but honestly the food, the servers , the vibes and everything else makes me not even care about the parking factor. I love having birthday dinners here. I do appreciate them a-lot because we were super late for our reservation and they still accommodated our table of 7. I have zero complaints. We all know downtown will always have the craziest parking so no shock there.
