Great service, great food and awesome drinks!

First time being here. I loved the cooking infront of you. I also like having my steak cut up and served to me. Tasted great.

Restaurant has a great energy, really fun teppanyaki style dining. Took a little bit to get seated and for food to start being cooked but it was worth the wait. Tried the new york steak and teriyaki chicken, very good!

great food,good services,awesome experience.arigato..

I really liked this place, it gives you a really cool experience and the food is delicious, the service is pretty good as well, and their drinks are fantastic ? The chef Many was really funny and nice. And if it is your birthday they sing to you and give you free ice cream I thought thats really sweet.

We went there a few days ago..it was a lousy presentation. Why bother cooking in front of you? Might as well cook it at the back kitchen save some effort. The server was super good and accommodating. The Chef not soo good non entertaining. Nothing amusing about it . Lousy presentation. If they get better I will come back! But as of now save yourself and go somewhere else! There are more hibachi place in edmonton!

I understand why this is one of my girlfriend's favourite restaurants. The food was absolutely amazing! I have never liked shrimp before, but the shrimp here was actually good! Loved the egg soup, rice with sesame dressing, grilled veggies, chicken and steak! Will definitely be back again!

amazing food ?? and great service.

Japanese Village USED to be my favorite restaurant hands down. I have been going there for 25 years and have been to multiple locations. the service has indeed suffered over the years but we usually always requested the same chef and rarely had issues. There were a few one offs where the chef we were given was a new chef and was so bad that it was embarrassing but I will admit that was few and far between. my main issue right now is with the Sauces. Japanese Village had the sauce game on lockdown - the steak sauce was the best and the ginger and salad dressings could not be compared to with anything anywhere. We used to always buy the Sauces to take home. HOWEVER, they have changed their Sauces and the composition of them and it is not just in my opinion but many of our friends as well that this change has NOT been for the better. the steak sauce is WAY TOO THICK and the flavour is just wrong. Not entirely sure what you guys did to the salad dressing but it is way off the mark and no longer even appetizing. So sad and just overly disappointing all around. Not sure if anyone reads these but if you do please go back to what once was phenomenal. The "new" formulas

It was my 1st time being here for my son's 9th bday. The food was good, but I didnt think it was worth the $57 meal price tag. I also didnt know that you'd have to wait almost an hour before the chef came out to start cooking your food. My kids were hyped because they thought it would be like the ones they watch on Tiktok and Youtube but it felt flat. My kids had expectations and were disappointed and I didnt have any expectations and was disappointed. The staff were friendly and the food was good, but the long wait time killed the vibe. And the chef almost hit my 10 yr old when he was flipping his tools. But thats OK, he was probably tired from flipping all day and my 10 yr old was cool with it.Overall didnt feel like it was worth the $220 I spent. We probably would have been fuller and paid less at the Korean BBQ a minute away but they had a long wait time and this place didn't. I didnt realize we would have been waiting longer here instead.
