Fantastic lunch! The lunch special was delicious, fresh and hot. It was a very generous portion and great value. Had local beer special on tap for a great price and it came in an ice cold frosted mug. The delicious authentic chia tea was freshly made with loose leaf tea. Family owned and operated and the owner is very friendly, great service.

I've been thinking about trying this restaurant for months and I'm so glad that I finally did. The food was fantastic and so was the staff. It has a warm and inviting atmosphere that transports you from Whyte Ave and gives you a little taste of India. And did I mention how good the food was?!?

This is the best Indian restaurant in the province of Alberta. The quality of the ingredients, the complexity of the spice mixes, and the unique ingredients are unmatched by any other Indian restaurant. We have been going to Indian Fusion for over ten years and argue over which dishes to order each time because there are SO many excellent choices. Shahi Paneer & Beef Vindaloo are usually among the mix for us. And the naan is the perfect mix of chewy & crisp. Even though we moved to Calgary, we still go back and get a massive order every time we visit Edmonton. We can’t get enough. The ambiance in the restaurant is super fun for a night out - they even have live music! Their new location just off Whyte is bigger than their last, so lots of space for your celebrations!Beyond the incredible food & space, the family-run restaurant is staffed by the kindest people you will meet. You will feel welcomed and well taken care of by this amazing team. The chef, Prakash, offers free meals to people experiencing homelessness in Edmonton - even now, at a time when restaurants are still struggling. This is the kind of incredible local restaurant you want in your community. I highly recommend you check it out. You won’t regret it!

There are so many Indian restaurants in Edmonton so the bar is set very high for quality of food. This spot takes over the abandoned old King and I spot just off Whyte Avenue. Parking is sparse as the city has put up no parking signs on both sides of the street outside of this restaurant. I can imagine thaf makes it difficult in the winter to access this place.Once inside, the decor has been changed up to a hip darker setting to emulate a more modern locale.I've been here twice and the food was ok. I didn't find it mind blowing. The vindaloo was more tomato based and not as saucy than what I'm familiar with. I also tried the Kadai which was quite good. I was surprised that they didn't have Dal Tarka on the menu so we ordered the Masoor and it was also quite good. The naan is moist...not crispy like oven baked naan. The reason I give three and not four stars was because the rice wasn't great. I ordered both the basmati and the saffron. They were very dry and the grains were very small. Especially with saffron, I'm accustomed to a plumper fuller grain with a more robust flavor. It may be that the food quality was affected because I ordered takeout. Also...the service was ok. It wasn't friendly. I made some customizations to the order and I felt like was bothersome. As I said, there's a LOT of Indian restaurants around Whyte and downtown. Hopefully this establishment can make it in a very competitive landscape.

LOVE this place. Everything about it. The atmosphere is very cozy, great place to come here with friends. The food is incredibly flavourful and there are so many options to pick from! This is my new go-to restaurant on Whyte Ave.

My friend and I came for lunch and had fabulous food in a lovely setting. The service was excellent. Highly recommended!

I'm blown away by the exceptional service my dinner party experienced. We were greeted by friendly staff as soon as we went in! The ambiance was warm and inviting. The restaurant is tastefully furnished, pleasant, and serves some of the best Indian cuisine I've ever tasted. As we celebrated my sons 16th birthday the staff went above and beyond to make his celebration memorable! I'm from Saskatchewan, and I can attest that Indian Fusion - The Curry House is a must-visit in Edmonton for delicious Indian cuisine!

We entered as hungry guests having very little idea what to order and left feeling like we have another new friend. What a lovely experience. The food was hot and fresh and at a perfect level of spice. It was as if he could understand exactly what we would like to eat. We felt welcomed and more like were dining with family. Absolutely Beautiful! We will bring our family next time to take it all in! If you haven’t taken the time to enjoy this experience….what are you waiting for?

Was walking down the Ave & smelled the most enticing aroma that brought us into the most amazing restaurant -definitely try this place out! This is the best food that I have eaten in a long time. Impeccable service & atmosphere. Make sure to check out the jewelry & scarves from India, they are beautiful. There will be live music two Fridays out of month & we will definitely be back. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

We had a fantastic experience here, the staff was welcoming, friendly and very attentive. The food was amazing, with rich flavours that were extremely well balanced. There are a number of unique dishes and a perfect amount of variation for different palates. The restaurant itself is calm with great ambiance, I couldn’t recommend this place more!
