Hands down best brown food place I’ve been on south side, the owner’s a really sweet guy and ain’t cheap with the food! My dishes we’re filed to the rims and my mango chicken actually had chunks of mangos!! Vary impress.
Ordered on the phone and good was ready on time. Samosas were crispy, fish pakora was delicious. Naan and curries were fresh and spiced well. Bought some sweets to takeaway and they gave us extra at no charge. Good customer service. It's always been a good experience when ordering from Indian Chef. This is our go to Indian place in the South Edmonton.
We gave them a second chance.In 1st attempt, they were rude.Today, we ordered Samosas and paneer pakodas.. Customer service was good but they didn’t do good on food.Both orders were stale and so hard.. Not even a single piece of PANEER PAKODA was soft. Seems like they re-fried pakodas and samosas.. Samosa was over-done and dark in color.If you don’t have fresh items then learn to say “NO, Item is not available”. Please don’t lie and waste customer’s money and time.
I love Indian cuisine but I have been having a hard time finding reasonably priced places to order from. On their website they have this "Mega Meal Deal" and for $59.99 you get an amazing amount of food. 2 Appetizers, 2 Entrees, 2 orders of rice, 2 desserts and a whole lot of naan. The quality of the food is amazing too. I got Paneer Pakora, absolutely the best I have had in a long time. I would definitely recommend getting this meal deal, even for one person, I feel like I have enough food for the weekend!
Ordered 7 butter chickens and one mango chicken, thought I ordered the lunch special for our staff meeting lunch, and turns out I messed up! The owner, and chef were so kind and helpful - they had rice ready for me right away and on the house even though I messed up my order. I have ordered numerous times for staff get togethers and every thing is always delicious, hot, and affordable. Thank you!
Really?? I think we order this bit late. But doesn’t mean you just make it without any taste and barely any vegetables in it. Totally disappointed this time.
Good food doesn’t need any introduction. I had same experience with Indian chef restaurant. I had my friend’s son engagement party ? chef Mohit went far beyond my expectation. He made food not only tasty ? but also heart ❤️ winner. All guest came in party were fully satisfied. Such nice aroma, texture, explosion of spices; all test buds were happy. Thank you . Definitely have to try and recommend to friends and family.
I work in the area and came for lunch one day and ordered the lunch special for only 10 bucks. Got the Butter Chicken with rice and naan and it was awesome It had big chunks of juicy chicken and filled me up. The friendly gentleman at the till even gave me a free drink because I told him it was my bday. I will for sure be back to try the other dishes.
Order here regularly, love the fragrance and flavors of any dish we order. Spice levels are actually spicy which is nice, always greeted when coming in. Highly recommend!
Ordered a chicken wrap today (05 Feb around 7:30 pm).Very tasty, wrap’s size was very good and clean preparation. Young guy inside was very polite and humble with his good customer service.
