Went to the place as it was recommended to me by a friend, who was in attendance with me. We were there on a Friday at around 12:30. Very busy rush hour lunch. Got a Montreal and Donair meat combo with my usual accompaniments, just about $15. I like the chance of pace with the panini pressed herb sprinkled pita, but my friend and I both agreed that for the price more meat my warranted, and there was not enough sauce. I may give the place another try as there is potential here, not just another Donair place, but not the best 1st impression.
I’ve never been disappointed with a meal from this establishment. Hands down best wraps and donairs in Edmonton.
Love the food. I was there for lunch almost every day 10 years ago, and when I went back, it was the same owner running the kitchen, making the same delicious food.
Wow so disappointing I call several times for a pick up order and the guy is super disrespectful tells me I can't order for pick up and hangs up on me. Was my favorite donairs came here lots. Last time my money goes to them thanks.
First experience was a great one. Definitely one of the best falafel wraps I've had. Jerk sauce Definitely worth a try. Cook/cashier was nice and attentive and made sure we were well informed on how the menu works. Will be back for the food Definitely worth a try, although I'd recommend eating right after being made as grilled wraps can go soggy after like 10 minutes of sitting. And also try the grilled feta block, it was very good but I can see it will probably not be for everyone!
Great friendly service and great food. Different spin on donairs. This is the donair meat with Montreal smoked meat. The outside is pannini pressed with spices and butter. A bit pricey at $15 for a large. But pretty good! Would highly recommend!
The only reason I can’t rate this place 6/5 is because the numbers don’t go that high. This place is amazing, from the quality of the meat to the crunchyness of the veggies. The staff are always extremely friendly and provide excellent customer service. The sweet sauce is poppin’. I consider myself a donair enthusiast, and this place is unequivocally bussin’.
No hyperbole. This is the best donair I've ever had. I got the Hog 2.0, and it was phenomenal. Can't wait to go try the rest of the menu! The hype is real!
Unique among the donairs of Edmonton as they are more gyro than donair. Grilled with a Greek seasoning covering the pita, filled with lamb and beef, feta and tzatziki, it was a crunchy and satisfying change from the common donair. As delicious as it was, I did find the portions lower than I expected, perhaps a large would be the perfect fit? Price was higher but fair as there is more to it than just wrapping up meat in a pita. It might not be everyone's favourite but i would recommend anyone to try to change it up at least.
My father came to visit from Winnipeg for my birthday and he was craving an Edmonton donair. I wanted to make sure that we got a quality one, and based off reviews we chose High Voltage. The donairs were delicious. The grilling and seasoning (must be some oregano) on top was perfect. Choose the sweet sauce. On top of the scrumptious donairs, our cook/server was friendly AND he knew that Phantom of the Paradise is what’s up in Winnipeg. Cool. Thanks for the great experience.
