Very enjoyable atmosphere. The food and service were great. Definitely not a greasy spoon diner. They take the food preparation, choices and service seriously. The pies were wonderful. Great neighborhood venue. Owners took the time to chat with us. We will definitely be back.
I heard this was a great local place fun by a great family. This place was great. The customer service was awesome especially seeing how busy it was. The food was also perfect. Highly recommend
We visited this diner based on reviews and were really disappointed. The food that was cooked was only ok. Much of the food we received was not cooked. One person in our party ordered their egg medium and it was more runny than you'd expect for over easy. Everyone's hash browns were too hard and cold to eat. It looked like they had been thrown on a grill for a few seconds to give the edges some colour. Even worse, false expectations around timing is just not cool. We were told it would take 10 minutes for us to be seated but we waited over 30. Then we had to wait another full hour before receiving our food. Yes, the owner was friendly but when we visit a diner we sort of want cooked food and timely service as well. Maybe he's overly friendly to deter negative reviews?
Went based solely on the ratings as it's not the quickest place to get to if you're a traveller. Basically located in a strip mall in a neighborhood on the northwest side of town. Place was busy, we got seats at a communal table in the middle of the small room. The staff was OK but several people seemed to take care of us and wasn't exactly quick, a man I assume was the owner did try to talk to everyone. My two knocks, while both our meals were good, my wife didn't get what she ordered and I had the breakfast poutine (tater tots with gravy and cheese and fried eggs and I added bacon) it could have used way more gravy.
Great little dinner! Happy people, great food (omg the pancakes were so fluffy!!) and good coffee. Totally a tiny gem if you are in the area. Very decorated in fun vintage things so interesting things to look at while you eat.
another awsome breaky and service with a smile... New owners, kept up the food, and service, been awhile due to covid but hope to visit again soon, best banana milk shake in town
It was a great choice to visit this place for all day breakfast & lunch. French onion soup was wonderful. My pouched eggs were done the way I like. There are many other choices for breakfast and I can see they all look delicious.
Had the best Brunch ever and they gave me a delicious piece of pie!! Highly recommended ❤️
Our first time for lunch: good, predictable, traditional diner choices. Good service. And for a Wednesday over the lunch hour, this place was consistently busy with diners and takeaway. Had Breky's and Quesadillas: both were very good and new, from my last visit, was iced coffee. My only wish is that they consider adding a few breakfast dishes, on their regular menu, that have very unique, fancy, complex flavors that are the mainstay of upscale breakfast spots. If you are looking for an upscale, high-end breakfast experience, then this is likely not the spot for you. I will definitely return as love to support NW Edmonton locally-owned small businesses.
We were seated at a table and they forgot about us. We sat there for almost ten minutes without so much as a stop by to see if we wanted beverages. The place wasn’t even crowded. There were other people who came in around the same time as we did also getting upset. We walked out after asking the server if she forgot about us. She said she was busy with an order. I guess it takes ten minutes to fill a order? We heard so many great things about this place and wanted to try it out. Sadly we will never know what the fuss is all about as we will never return.
