Sure. theres plenty of Vietnamese restaurants to choose from. Let’s be honest we all have the one spot though that ranks higher than the rest and can’t be beat. This is it!!! I’m a fanatic for an amazing bowl of pho soup and we can’t go without those salad rolls. Halong Bay, brings you to flavour town with their menu selections. The menu has options for any pallets and dietary interests.Don’t like meat? No problem, me either. With Halong Bay their tofu options make all and any dish have you craving for your next fix. The veggies are fresh, the broth is delicious, and their salad rolls… don’t even get me started. If you’re looking to be convinced this place is any good… let me be the one to tell you, it definitely is!The staff are friendly and attentive. The location is spacious and clean. And well like I said the menu will keep you coming back for more!
I have been to this restaurant many many times but lately I’ve noticed that the quality of food has gone down drastically while the prices have gone up. For example, today I ordered the special seafood fried rice for $20 along with some other items. I asked for no squid because it makes my stomach upset and I asked them to replace squid with more shrimp. What I got was a really sad looking fried rice with 3 shrimps and some squid when I specifically said no to squid. This is just one incidence. Go to Thanh Thanh and you won’t be disappointed. Way reasonable prices and good quality food. I used to love this place so it’s very sad to see this happening.
My husband and I were always looking for a place to get Pho with hours that work with our schedule. As the one place we normal went to was closed on Mondays. We were delightful when we stumbled over Halong. Our go to is getting green onion cakes, vegetarian soup or vermicelli for myself and the special pho for my husband. The vegetarian vermicelli is extremely filling. The tofu is deliciously fried and comes with cucumbers, carrots, bean sprouts, peanuts, and two vegetarian spring rolls. The portions are very large. I usually cannot finish my meal in one sitting. The service is always excellent. They are very skilled at judging how much you need service or if you’d rather sit back and talk.If you are looking for a spot to get delicious Vietnamese, check out Halong Bay!
We just stopped in for a late lunch. We were 3 adults an 8 year old and a 7 month old.2 orders of 6 colour on rice1 order of Pho Dac Biet special beef soup1 order Cha Gio fried spring rolls2Watermelon bubble teaIt was so good.7 month old loved the beef broth and noodles.*** NOTE****THE SERVICE WAS OUTSTANDING!Our waitress was attentive and even when we asked her for things after she just brought us a few things she had a smile on her face.Food was served in a timely fashion and it was good. They were friendly and more than helpful. It was clean and not overcrowded.Thank you Ha Long Bay!
The food is absolutely delicious and the menu prices very justifiable and very reasonable. Try this place every money you spent here is worth it. Highly recommended.
A little pricey but good. $6 for 2 spring rolls I thought was a bit much, down the road at Co Do Hue you get 4 for that price. But my main course which was beef and vegetables satay on rice was good. I give 3 out of 5 as the service wasn’t terrible but wasn’t great. Not overly friendly. Will eat there again but likely for takeout.
Great soups and Pho! I started going there for Pho but the Bún Bò Huế (H6) has been my favorite since being recommended to me. It is a spicy Pork soup with medium thickness noodles that is fantastic! Each time I go I flip a coin between it and the Peanut Satay Pho
My wife and I mistakenly showed up before closing but the lady was gracious enough to let us eat anyway. The food here was amazing, tasty. We had 2 big bowls of soup, green onion cake with spring rolls. We will definitely return and be a little more early. Once again thank you ladies!!!
Food was made fresh, delicious, herbs and great flavors. I would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a great pho soup. We also tried the bubble tea and it was fantastic! We have tried a number of other spots and not had this standard of quality and taste. They are our new go-to for bubble teas.
This was my first time ordering from this restaurant, and I'm basing my review only on the item that I ordered. What I will say is that the restaurant was very clean, service was great, and there were a few full tables with customers when I picked up my order.I ordered the chicken pad thai to go and while it was a large portion for $20, it was pretty bad. The fast food thai place has much better tasting pad thai. I knew ordering Pad Thai from a Vietnamese place would be questionable, but I didn't realize how bad it would be.By no means am I a pad thai expert, but I've had enough from Thai restaurants to know what it should look and taste like, and this didn't taste like pad thai at all. It was a strange combination of spices with some chopped peanuts and veggies thrown in.I had a few bites at home, but it went in the garbage. A waste of $20. If I try this place again, I'll stick with a vermicelli bowl or pho.
