10/10. Authentic, one of a kind menu courtesy of the creator of this fantastic local business thats been around since he started a business here in the 90s! Green onion cake was grill fried from soft dough right in front of you, perfectly crispy, slightly oily and rich in soft but deep umami flavor. Also tried the pad Thai after devouring 2 onion caked, it was yummy and the noodles were perfect. Just curious about the sauce/flavor as it was quite differently than any other pad Thai I've tried.
My favorite place for lunch. The wonton soup is the best I've ever had and of course the green onion cakes are divine!! I must try local place in Edmonton..
The green onion cake taste great, super savoury. The crispy outer crust and softer interior. The sauces taste great too, a must try. The ambience is not the greatest or cleanest but it does have so antique look to it.
The absolute best green onion cakes I’ve ever had in my entire life. Also ordered the lemon chicken and the Szechuan beef, both were also the best I’ve ever had as well. I would rate this restaurant over 5 stars if I could!! Definitely worth visiting. I will absolutely be coming back very soon for more. The inside is cute and homey feeling and the lady who served us was incredibly friendly.

Love this place! The Szechuan Beef, Mu Shu Pork, and Green Onion Cakes are all amazing. I'm always sure to grab a pack of cakes to fry at home. Last time I came in they were selling bagels that were 10/10.
Tried the green onion pancake here and can tell the restaurant puts a lot of effort into making them. The green onion pancakes I've tried at other restaurant are either too small or flat so you dont get the full green onion flavor. This one is more fluffy with a bit of chew in the center. They only thing I noticed was the pancake was quite salty and oily, however, I would recommend you try it out.

Heard a lot about this place and finally decided to try it out. You order your onion cakes as soon as you enter, at the counter and can sit inside or take out your order. Lady who worked there asked if it was our first time and then gave us each half a cake to try while waiting for take out order. They were delish! I heard you can also buy them frozen!? Will be visiting again very soon!
