First time going to Gong Cha. I ordered Matcha bubble tea. I received Taro bubble tea.I said that I ordered Matcha but they insisted that I ordered Taro. I don't mind the Taro, but I rate 2 stars because of the argument.I don't think I'll buy Gong Cha again.
make sure you ask for FRESH FRUIT in a smoothie, if that’s what you are getting. I got a taro smoothie and didn’t ask for fresh fruit and what I’m drinking is chalky and taste like a taro protein shake. So disappointing! >={ Besides I asked for a red bean smoothie but somehow they can’t make one of those. So I opted for taro. My mistake for thinking of coming here. West Ed makes delicious RBS.
Easily the best bubble tea in Edmonton. They have the best flavoured and most consistent bubble tea you will have. This location is always well staffed, never seems to be rushed and always gives good customer service. They have a great rewards program that is easy to navigate and the most consistent quality you will find.
If I say milk tea with lychee, I would expect milk tea with lychee pieces in it. However, that's not what I got. It was lychee flavoured milk tea.I also got the taro smoothie, but it felt like they added a little bit of taro powder to a bunch of ice, as the flavour was lacking.Also, the vibe inside is not acceptable. There was garbage bags on the other side of the tables. I understand that stores had to limit seating area due to Covid. However piling garbage in these areas is not a pretty sight to look at.The interior has so much potential, but its sad to see how uninviting it has become.
Very quick service, loved the bubble tea. But I forget to mention that I don't need ice in my bubble tea, so would be good if the cashier asked these sort of questions. Overall, good.
Ordered a drink in-store and was charged a price that's higher than what's listed in the menu. I asked about it and was told it's an old menu up on the screen....?!?!Drink was okay, but not thrilled about the difference in price and the attitude of the server.
We enjoyed the excellent food quality and customer services. All time favourite!

This is my favourite bubble tea!!! I had try different places that are good too but always come back here!!! My to go drink is the brown sugar milk foam bubble tea !!!!
