Had high hopes due to other reviews but was less than impressed. Food was ok. Expensive for the amount of meat given (2 chicken drumsticks for $21?). Service was not good. We had questions about the menu since we had never been before and server barely spoke to us. She was unfriendly and extremely slow. Acted very annoyed that we were even there. Had to take napkins off another table since we weren’t given any. We waited probably close to 45 min for our dip appetizer that really couldn’t have taken more than a few minutes to prepare and we were the only ones in the place. Restaurant itself was nice inside but air conditioning made it insanely cold. Wouldn’t recommend or return unfortunately.

Wow! Can’t recommend this place enough. The staff are so warm and welcoming, the food incredible and the atmosphere comfortable and inviting. I recommend enjoying a coffee after your meal, you won’t be disappointed.

Our favourite Ethiopian restaurant in Edmonton. Friendly staff. Delicious food, dynamic flavours, good ingredients and very reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

I have never ever experienced bad service any where in my life . I ordered 2 dorowots for 7pm and I came late. We drove for 23 minutes. Guess what happened? They sold my food because I was late. This is really bad service. How can you sell someone’s food without even calling them to ask ?They didn’t even say sorry! I felt like they were not bothered about it.If any kind of business has a good client/customer service it will thrive. To be honest, I will never order or go there. I don’t recommend it at all. I recommend other Ethiopian restaurants in Edmonton.

My first time ordering and I'm blown away. This food is absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, fresh ingredients.. FINALLY some amazing and AFFORDABLE eats. <3

Absolutely incredible, I don't know if we just lucked out or if it's not very busy here but we had the place to ourselves and got treated to the full Ethiopian experience. We had the vegan platter (to try a bit of everything) and most popular meat dish (Doro Mot), both were amazing though the Doro Mot was fairly spicy if that's not your thing. We also had the ceremonial coffee which was spectacular and came complete with a great explanation and demonstration of the traditions involved with it.We will definitely be back and highly recommend to friends and family.

Delicious food and great music. The injera was a bit too sour for my palate, so next time I would ask for pita bread instead.

Very fresh. Amazing tasting. Beautiful atmosphere. Great staff. Such a kind and friendly owner. Maz tried this Ethiopian restaurant one of the best Ethiopian restaurant ever.

Consistently amazing food. We order the Derek tibs which are super spicy and flavourful and the vegan sampler which has an amazing variety. Our picky toddlers love the veggies too! Highly recommend.

Wow. We started with the Azifa Dip with the injera bread. So so so good. Kitfo was fragrant and delicious. Vegan Sampler was awesome. 10/10 would recommend to anyone willing to let their palate wander. So glad we found this place!
