I met a friend there for lunch on our days off, we had a great time catching up and enjoying the calm atmosphere. The service was speedy and the food was great. The perfect amount of veggie omelet. Also, the gentleman who helped us was attentive, yet not annoying. Would recommend the sun-dried tomatoes omelet. Hell yeah brother!
Hands down the best pancakes in the city. I don't know how they do it everytime. I've been going here for years! Food takes awhile to get but its because its made from scratch so worth the wait.

Although I was always drawn to Friends &Neighbours for dinning I was unable to taste their cuisine, unfortunately. I have been in the restaurant on several occasions. My admiration for this comforting space with warmth of energy ✨ and '? 'vibes' left ✨ a lasting impression of which I haven't indulged in as intended.A necessity I truely is on a "to do list".
I have never been obsessed with a soup like I have the vegan spicy satay noodle soup. I am doomed to never try anything else on the menu because it is so freaking good. I have tried the beef version and honestly think the vegan (tofu) version is better. It is super savoury with lots of peanuts and fresh cucumber and bean sprouts. You can tell the broth is home made with care! If you want an umami comfort meal, this is it.Service is always friendly, and prices are super reasonable with large portions.My only criticism is I think they should pare down their menu to what they do best! So many great dishes but the menu is extensive and I've had a couple dishes that were just ok, like the vegan club.

Waste of money. Order the blackstone breakie bowl for take out as I was in the area. Asked for no peppers and as I'm allergic as well as no onions only to have meal covered in both and jalapeños which were not stated to be part of the meal. No point driving back as I live on the Southside of the city so into the garbage it goes.
