Wow wow wow!! This place is AMAZING. Their attention to every single detail makes this place extra special. Everywhere you turn is picture worthy. They have such a fun eye for decor and their service was outstanding. It's clear they take pride in their food, their service and their space. The margarita was perfect and the tacos were delicious!! We are looking forward to coming back! Highly recommend!
Great experience! Had 3 types of tacos Asada, Al pastor and suadero. Tacos were fantastic! Also ordered the molcajete and really enjoyed it as well. The server was a really nice guy who was super helpful and friendly! We will definitely be eating here again!
Finally after 12 years of living in Canada, we found REAL AUTHENTIC TACOS MEXICANOS!!! We had the pleasure of meeting Mayte and her wonderful family at a farmers market once and today we finally had pleasure of eating at their delicious restaurant! Didn't took pictures of all the food we had as each time you took a bite was like feeling back at home, Mexico ❤ I extremely recommend Frida Urban Taqueria. #1 taqueria in all Edmonton. Thanks to Nathan for amazing service and all the laughs. And once again to the owner Mayte for the best Mexican food in all Edmonton! Wishing you guys all the best and for many many more victories!!! We will be back very soon!

Food. Atmosphere. Amazing Service!!Jorge was absolutely wonderful and takes pride in his service? My food hit the spot in a way a home cooked meal does and the hot sauce was drool worthy. It was worth the trip down! 25 stars❤
We were so excited to try this place out after seeing the reviews but it was a disappointment. The food was flavorless and drinks were not good either. The service was very, very slow. The ambience is nice and server was sweet so two stars but would not go back.
Excellent vibe, drinks, food was tremendous. Came on a busy night with no reservation and they still found us a spot. Pescado tacos were delicious.
I’m so disappointed in the portion size of the Gordita all for $10. I’m fine paying the 10$ but what I got was the size of an English muffin. For Mexican street food this place lacks in authenticity.
I have been here twice and just ordered a large take out order for 9 people. Both times I have been, the food has been incredible and the staff super friendly & attentive. I gave them less than 24 hours notice for my large taco order and they were on time and the food got rave reviews. Whatever one has the pineapple in it was a crowd favourite. Highly recommend both dine in and take out.
This place is great. I was really impressed with both the service and the food. I think they might have the best premium margaritas I've had at a Mexican restaurant in Edmonton. The Gordita is amazing and the tacos are great. Everything is homemade. Beans and Chip prices a touch high for the size but they are high quality. I don't mind a premium price for a premium product. I'll be back.
