They seem to try and save money by cutting various corners, leaving you feeling like you just bought nothing for lots of money.
Me and my girlfriend went in to grab a quick meal. It was 10 mins till close, we were friendly and apologized for coming in so late, it being the only healthier option at that time. Skip drivers were still coming in either way. I ordered a wrap which tasted fine but my girlfriend's soup was terrible, the broth was literally water. Literally. It would've been appreciated if the lady behind the till even just said I can't do soup and we would have gladly picked something else. Definitely put a damper on our night. Date February 25th . She didn't eat the soup
Found out owner keeps tips paid through credit or debit. Unfortunately this is legal in Alberta but it's not a practice I will support with my patronage to this business, that's for sure.
DO NOT TIP USING CARD. The owners keep those tips for themselves and don't distribute to employees. The employees are told they can receive cash only tips. Tip employees using cash if you want it going to them!
Owners really should consider paying their staff better and not stealing their tips. Tip in cash if you are going to.
if you’re gonna tip the staff leave them cash as the owner keeps all tips for themselves if it’s done via debit/credit. apparently the staff can only keep the cash tips…. won’t be supporting this business any longer! shameful behaviour
Upon learning that the owners keep any debit/credit tips for themselves I will not be supporting this location in the future.
The owner of this restaurant steals tips done on the debit machine that are meant for the store’s employees working on the front. Really unfair and shady business practices are happening here. I will be taking my business elsewhere
Sadly the owner takes all the tips to themselves. Shame on them. This is disgusting, I submitted an online complaint. If anyone knows the owner, please know that they're are not good people.
