I ordered pork buns and were so salty they were inedible. Also they served me red wine ice cold....that's as bad as warm beer. When she asked if I liked the meal I explained my dismay and she said "I really like them. Too bad you dont" and walked away
The tail end of my adventures in the biggest mall in North America today led me to what may quite possibly be my favorite dive bar in North America. The atmosphere and music were awesome, food is amazing (check out that menu!), drinks are made right, and the tattooed concert T shirt wearing staff are some of the best in the biz. Sorry about the photo we dug in and it was so good for the price, I decided I needed a photo for my 5 star review. Great bar, great staff. We sat at the bar and Eh-Eh-Ron aka Aaron was great to us. I want to take this bar home with me. Food is excellent, inexpensive and the drinks flow without catastrophic damage to your pocketbook. I frequently visit Edmonton and I will go out of my way to enjoy this gem again.Ps there was a great song I hadn't heard in a long time playing and they turned it up for me. This bar is a keeper. Please open other ones everywhere.
Not bad, we came in, didn’t know Tuesday night is trivia night, starts at 8pm, we caught the last 9 questions, was pretty fun. Food is good and cheap, pretty sure it will be packed in weekends.
I don't normally go out to bar/pub type places, but this was interesting. Everything is about $6 and the portions are pretty decent for the price. The music was real loud, but top notch song choices!The food took a little while to come out, but it was a Saturday evening and it looked quite busy.Wasn't a big fan of their serving dish/pan. It's literally like a frying pan and it spins around while you're trying to grab food. The handles kind of get in the way, so you have to be careful about knocking the entire thing over. Also, there was a weird metallic taste to some of the food, unsure if it was the pan.
Was extremely disappointed with this place, was hoping for some great food, but was very unsatisfied. My 3 very simple dishes took almost 1.5 hrs to get, everything was very slow drinks, water. Unfortunately probably won't be coming back, unless for lunch maybe when it might be less busy, but even then simple pub food shouldn't take 1.5 hrs
Went here with a friend on Tuesday.The idea here is that everything is 5 bucks i don't know, kind of a meh idea.The music when we got there was way too loud, however when they started trivia night they turned it down thankfully.We ordered the wings and wedges, deep fried bacon for a started.Deep fried bacon was super good, the wings and wedges were nice.The staff were really nice and the trivia night was fun.However I ordered poutine and a burger. Poutine was cold and gross.Burger was nice, id say order an extra patty.
Great food and live music...we had the fish, bloomin onion, texas twinkies, vegan shepherds pie, fries and Donaire special. WAY too much food! The portions were generous for $5.55 each. Top favs were the fish and the Donaire!Everyone respected the Covid protocols and the washrooms were very tidy. The server was friendly so no complaints.Note: It can be a bit loud so be aware...? but there were people of all ages enjoying the vibe (no complaints).Will be back!
Lovely little pub with great music, located in West Edmonton Mall. I was thrilled with the menu. $5.55 or less for all food items. What was really exciting was the vegan portion of the menu. I had a most delicious vegan shepherd's pie. Next time I will sample the vegan sloppy joes. Large drink menu as well with some excellent prices. No minors allowed.
We went on a Wednesday evening around 7:30 pm. The waitress let us know there was music bingo starting right away so we decided to stay for it. Great decision as we had a great time, the Dj was so much fun. All the food on the menu and basic drinks were $5.55 and they were excellent. We had the supreme fries, deep fried bacon and mini corn dogs. Then we had mini donuts for dessert, everything was really tasty. Waitress was really attentive and we would absolutely go back
