Have been to Ernest’s a number of times. Unfortunately this time wasn’t great. Good was lousy. Maybe because it was the last day they we’re open. But other times it was delicious for the amount you pay !
The food was not good at all. I was rather disappointed. They run out of one of the main courses which I wanted to eat (Halibut). The other two main courses were less than average.
This is the place to come if you're looking for a 3-course meal at an amazing price. The students prepared excellent meals. Imagine when they become chefs for real! The dining room was lovely and spacious and the noise was at a minimum. We could actually hear each other's conversation. It was refreshing. One must book well in advance, they're that popular.
Service was quite slow. My main course was adequate.
Going to Ernest’s has been on my bucket list for years; it did not disappoint….beautiful presentation and delectable food! The staff are so friendly, it was a pleasure and I will definitely be back!!
