best Chinese food in the city. fast and always delicious

Great place, don't let the outside scare you away. The food is very good.

Great value, great tasting food and friendly staff. Very busy with locals, which speaks well for the restaurant. Cash only, so be prepared. There is an ATM on site but save yourself the transaction fees by bringing cash.

As always good food and efficient staff. Staff are fast in bringing out the food and drinks. The dishes I recommend for general public is Shanghai noodles; rice with curry beef brisket; House special fried rice; pork dumplings, wontons (pork and shrimp) and noodles soup; and beef chow fan with bean sprouts or no bean sprouts. For me and my family we sometimes order long donut or rice roll with BBQ pork (it's an acquired taste). We even ordered pork and black egg congee. Man I like their congee. The best dish I recommend is the wonton (pork and shrimp) and noodle soup if you want a consistent and good dish.Wow.... this restaurant has been here ever since my family moved from Saskatchewan to Edmonton in the early 80s and before my birth. Now I take my friends here when they crave for Chinese food.

Same menu for 40 years, huge selection, good prices. My favorites are Satay beef chow fan and Salt and pepper squid. Cash only. If driving, approach using alley from north, no parking lot access from south due to LRT tracks.

The food had no taste, the Sweet and sour pork was soggy, special fried rice seem days old, the bok choy was rotten. The food was not edible had to toss in the garbage. I never post bad review but I had to share my experience. The worst $110.00 Ive ever spent.

The reviews don't lie, some of the best Chinese food in the city. The staff is super nice and helpful. Food is fresh and all delicious

I chose this restaurant based off reviews, pulling up; the parking is complicated and tight, the building looks run down. Worried about cleanliness, I walked in relieved to see it looked clean. When I got my order and got home I did my typical mix. But disappointed by the sweet and sour pork, my favorite dish. The pork was slimy and rice looked dyed from the sauce. The spring rolls I got didn’t taste fresh, but they were ok, I also got the crunchy chicken chow mein, which was relieving, considering I can’t stomach the rest, I got Chinese food for a lazy dinner and lazy leftover lunch tomorrow so I don’t have to go grocery shopping. But sadly I’m finishing the rice and chow mein and going shopping.

Not that great...!!....i had heard such good things about this restaurant...that i had to try it....First of all they only accept cash...why do they only accept cash...I believe that they do not want to report all the income that they make... there was a lot of food but mostly rice and cheap noodles that were too crunchy for my liking for soup...the broth was also weak tasting as well for a $9.00 soup...and again 90% noodles ... i gave it two stars because the ginger beef was very good and there was enough for 6 people... a lot of it and it was prepared perfectly... definitely get the ginger beef....also the mixed veg was very good too but again the broth was weak tasting.... the fish dish steamed was better but also bland...

Freshest, best tasting and most reasonable Chinese food in Edmonton. Your food will arrive as it's cooked in no particular order. Bring cash as that's all they accept. And two thumbs up for excellent Covid protocols from checking QR codes and ID to socially seating patrons. GREAT JOB!
