I'm pretty sure that Donair and Shawarma House is the best donair shop in the west end. Portions are crazy generous, the food tastes great, cooked fresh and incredible service. I really enjoyed chatting with the guys as they prepared my food, learned more about their roots in Syria and how they prepared their food back home. The guys were so accommodating when I asked for my donair to be wrapped in sajj, it's a game changer, so much better than pita. They jammed it with nothing but perfectly cooked donair meat and about half a litre of garlic sauce and left the veggies on the side. Consuming this masterpiece of a donair felt criminal, like I had rolled up the Mona Lisa in sajj, drenched it in garlic sauce and ate it. The chicken shawarma platter was equally epic, thankfully my wife is a light eater and I was able to claim the leftovers for my lunch the following day. Literally no complaints about Donair and Shawarma House, they are legit and I highly recommend eating donairs here as opposed to Prairie Oyster donair shop across Stony plain road that burns donair meat.
Just ate there this evening. Incredibly nice guys. We were from out of province and they offered us a small sample of shwarma and rice before ordering.The plate we got was heaped with food...enough for a lunch of leftovers tomorrow! A pleasant experience all around.
Outstanding, delicious food and just about the friendliest owners you could meet. Terrific customer service (they comped my pop and bottled water for my first visit).I now consider this a must stop on the city's west end. So glad I have new Shawarma place to go to! Do not skip this restaurant if you are in the area and are hungry. You won't be disappointed.Definitely will be back!!
Trust me I have high standards. This place blew my expectations completely. I think the best donair, shawarma place ever. AND I MEAN THAT. Price 10/10, food 10/10, customer service 10/10, smiles 10/10. Wow they should learn from these guys. Amazing
Going in looks like 'fast food diner' however the food is 5 star restaurant quality. Clean cook area, owner is super sweet. Portions are large so be prepared to eat twice on 1 meal.
LOVE IT! My mom recommended the place, saying they serve shawarma like back at home, and I was not disappointed. I got a wrap( properly filled in the pita, not on the pita like other donairs), my husband got a platter and that it definitely a lot of food for a good price! Very good communication and customer service. I’ll be back soon for sure.

Amazing. Honestly very impressed with this restaurant. Ive tried many different donairs around Alberta, and this is definitely one of the best I’ve had. The portion sizes are the biggest I’ve seen, the meat tastes fresh, veggies were good. They even offered to put my drink on the house! 5/5 Definitely will be back.

This is the best shawarma I’ve ever had, not only does it remind me of my home country it tastes very fresh and amazing. The pomegranate sauce is a game changer and I recommend this place to all my friends and family. Their portion sizes are great for the price and the employers are very sweet!
