We stopped at the Denny's downtown for the first time in over two years. We wanted a bite of supper and we're tired of regular fast food joints. It was quiet in the restaurant. Martina found us a nice booth by the window and brought us drinks right away then gave us a few minutes to have a look at the menu. She took our orders and made a special note to go easy on the seasoning on my food due to my dietary issues. Our orders came just the way we wanted and it was so nice to have a nice sit down supper with tasty food and great vintage music to listen to that took me back to my teens! Thanks Denny's downtown! Well be back!
Went here with my family and had a great time. Our server, Martina was lovely and very attentive even though we had some tedious requests! Overall, great service and atmosphere. Wish I got more photos of the food but we ate it way too quick. This location is easily the best Dennys in the city!
Agnes was our host and she was wonderful. She made absolutely sure our food was what we wanted. I enjoy this Denny's location the most. Nice atmosphere and fun to people watch as it's right next to the university.I ate the roast turkey which is my go to food here and I'm full and happy as usual. Thank you Agnes for the pleasant service and care.
I’ve been to the other Denny’s in Edmonton and have been disappointed in the past, but this Denny’s in downtown was absolutely fantastic! Amazing service, great speed, and the food was cooked amazingly!We celebrated our son’s birthday here and will be returning! Thank you for reviving my taste for Denny’s!Oh, and I also want to thank our waiter Chris specifically for being extremely helpful, informative, polite and attentive to our orders and refills. He deserves recognition, he was amazing!
Store manager was very rude and did not want to honour a store promotion and would not tell us directly and sent his new server to tell us instead of talking to us directly. When I asked the server to speak to the manager directly because the game of telephone was uncomfortable he finally came to our table and tried to make a sense about it. The server was kind and sweet and having a panic attack over it. I assume she was going to be in trouble when we left. I tipped her well because she wasn’t the issue but I will not be back there again. We had issues there a long time ago but we’re in the area and wanted to give it a chance again.
We had the best waitress, Veronica, she was attentive and super awesome, we had everything we needed! As a larger table of 6 folx, it can be a little intimidating especially on a later night shift and she did absolutely phenomenal. Will definitely be back for some more late night munchies! Good food, amazing service, Krissy and Veronica rocked it last night!! Thanks for an awesome meal!
The Dennys restaurant downtown edmonton Alberta have bunch of dishonest employees my mother left a personal item in there store, my mom phone them and inform of the item they said there staff member didn't see anything so if your staff member didn't see anything that means the table is still a mess and no haven't clean it. They told my mom that they checked the camera, which they didn't they lied, there customer service was poor. I then call them back and asked then the lady stated that whenever she had time she will check the camera so help me to understand how did you told my mother that you checked the camera basically you a liar.
My coffee group has been meeting here for about 6 months now and we have been very happy with the food and the service! Very reasonable prices, excellent food quality, and they have been known to leave the coffee carafe on the table so we can help ourselves! Thank you to the manager and staff AND the cooks for making this such a great experience!
