I wish i could give them a ZERO star for this restaurant.. they are not following Groupon coupon as it never says you have to buy two main dish in order to redeem this in fine print..but restaurant force you to buy two main dish. Moreover their food is absolute GARBAGE..we order paneer pasanda and mix veg sabji and they made both in same readymade cheap gravy . DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM HERE.

Dawat is NOT a Halal Restaurant.I wanted to order food via UberEats, so I called Dawat restaurant to confirm if they are halal. The customer service said its halal, we asked about halal seal and company but they just said its completely halal whether we order chicken, beef or lamb. We were about to order when we heard someone in the background saying they're not sure and "I dont know". So I asked to talk with the manager and the lady gave it to another person who said everything is halal. We asked if they have a halal certification and they said no. Hmm a big red flag, as halal restaurants have certificates on the front wall. Later he said he's new and so he does not know and the Manager is too busy so we cannot speak with them. They hung up when I asked them to clarify and and upon calling again they said they will call us back once they ask owner. At last we talked with the Owner, who said that they do have a certification but it is expired and that she does not know where the meat comes from.Beware of such restaurants that claim their food is halal but nobody knows where the meat is coming from and they do not have a certification. This is very serious and not a joke that they are just saying its halal without even checking or knowing what that is. Be careful of such restaurants as many just say they are halal to get more customers and they dont actually know what that is or where they get the meat from! But everyone in this restaurant is trained to say its halal???

We ordered 2 Chicken Tikka for $16.95 each and 2 orders of Naan bread. Well, firstly the sauce spilled all over the bag so that was not a good first impression. Secondly, the portions were so small, and barely any chicken. The chicken was very dry and had no flavor. I only ate 2 pieces and discarded the rest.We were at least expecting a decent amount of food for the price we paid. but seriously why charge so much for just 5-6 pieces of dry chicken, was extremely disappointed. I was so frustrated and upset that wasn't able to take no pictures.

Ordered through Uber eats today. My order number was #61343. One of the items we ordered was veg vindalloo. I still can’t tell if this was serious or a joke. The dish was inhumanely spicy. I took one spoon and my lips and mouth started burning. My nose and eyes started watering.Even after drinking water and applying ice on my lips it burnt for half an hour. Someone please tell me this was a joke. I am Indian btw I can handle spice and eat chilly just like that. This dish felt like they have just dumped a box of chilly in it. There was no salt no nothing just burn. Ended up eating instant noodles for dinner. Thank you Daawat.

A culinary delight awaits you at this fine authentic Indian restaurant! Most importantly the potions are not only delicious, but they are also generous! Great value for your Dollar ☺️.

Ordered food through skip the dishes.Taste and spice level were accommodated properly. laccha paruntha Was top notch flavour and crisp level.Only there was too much if stuffing in the aloo naan it was going all over while eating. Must include spoons without asking or requesting as sometime it is hard to find folks and knives when at work only these teo factors brought it to 4 stars but else it deserves 5

Every time I've ordered here it's been a delight. Portions are great for feeding multiple people on well priced orders. Really good vegetarian options.

I had a groupon and my son was craving butter chicken. We ordered that plus another dish with rice and naan. Wow. I haven't tasted really good butter chicken like that in a long time! My son and I will be back again for sure!

We ordered a couple of take-out dishes from Daawat to supplement brown basmati rice and some vegetables that I made at home for the evening’s meal. A call in by my wife was answered by a pleasant woman who identified herself as Pravina. Asking for an order each of Paneer Palak, and Lamb Korma, she was quite helpful, asking our preference for spice/heat levels. Pravina stated the restaurant was open for dining with full COVID Pandemic protocols, but if we wished to pick up, we could place the order now with any specified time for pick-up. She even thanked my wife by name, and we realized that when we provided her with our phone number, a previous order under Nancy’s name must be in their system! We were quite impressed with Pravina’s manner and attention to detail. Our order was hot and ready for pick-up at the appointed time which unfortunately not always the case at other establishments. Upon arrival at home, we were pleasantly surprised with the inclusion of a container of Kheer (Indian Rice pudding) which was apparently provided free of charge. The paneer and lamb were both well prepared with ample amounts of very tasty sauce. The Korma had a few nice chunks of meat, one or two on the bone, but also contained 4 quite large pieces of bone only. I believe this is fairly typical of authentic Indian lamb dishes, however one or two more pieces with meat attached would have been ideal. I would suggest that if you would prefer more meat, you would be more satisfied ordering Chicken or Beef. But as it was, we both enjoyed both dishes and had no regrets with our choices.
