Terrible experience. We went out of town, missing a family members birthday. To surprise them on the day, I wanted to make sure they received cookies to make sure they knew we were thinking of them. I made an online order for delivery the day before, received an order confirmation and charge to my credit card, and had no indication that the delivery couldn’t be made. The cookies were never delivered. Once I inquired, it was blamed on a computer glitch and was offered 2 options: a later delivery 5 days later OR a refund. In my opinion, it should have been no question that I was offered the refund AND a late delivery. I just cancelled altogether because the persons birthday was already missed and we were already going to be coming home the following week. There was no longer a point to spending my money on the cookies. It was all really lack luster. After being 2 years in a pandemic, you’d think a company’s website and delivery service would be polished up. I mean, the computer clearly knew that my payment was there- they made sure the money was in their hands. But, the delivery was missed? Doesn’t make a whole lot of sense. Weak excuse and a weak offer to rectify. Not happy. Wouldn’t recommend relying on their delivery.
Honestly, horrible experience this week. Ordered cookies for my birthday. They were delayed because of a storm - not CBG’s fault. The cookies were then delayed a 2nd day. I received a refund but it didn’t seem like they were eager to help. On the 3rd day delayed they were finally out for delivery and were returned to the destination. When I called FedEx to find out why they were not delivered they said CBG had stopped the shipment. So instead of being delivered to me late, to at least get some enjoyment out of my birthday order, they are being returned to Edmonton to be thrown out. I love these cookies and I have paid the steep $80 many times to get some delivered to Ontario but after this interaction I will never be ordering again.
I was never a cookie person until I tried cookies by George. I don’t know what they have in their ingredients but it so soft, chewy, creamy and ADDICTING! I enjoyed it so much so I had to buy some for friends during the holidays which is by no means cheap but SO worth it! My favorite is the cappuccino and oatmeal ?
they make the yummiest Chocolate Macaroon Cookies. I wish we had somewhere closer to Medicine Hat or Lethbridge so I could get some. These are my absolute favorite cookie.

I needed to make a last minute order to be delivered on the same day. Jaime at head office was quick to return my call and arranged for the delivery once I placed my order. Her customer service was outstanding and I am beyond satisfied. I will be ordering again in the future! Thanks!

Honestly the best cookies in the world! So fresh and so YUMMY! I can’t thank cookies by George enough. They did an awesome giveaway for nurses week and I won a box of assorted cookies. I couldn’t believe how many flavours it came with! Service delivery was only one day! I am forever thankful! Best cookies in the world and great service too! Such Friendly staff and so beautifully decorated/wrapped!
