Birthday. Was in for a bite before the concert we were attending and the waitress informed us they were open until 12:00. When we went for out 11:00 reservation we were told they close at 11:00 not 12:00. Just wondering why the reservation was taken for this when they were not even going to be open???

Great ambience and staff food was as great though.
We ordered appetizers, drinks and main courses, we got our dinner first and no appetizers! Our waitress offered to bring us our appetizers after our dinner because she forget. We refused and were offered zero compensation ie free round etc. We left hungry and disappointed, we wonât be back.
Drinks were good food was ok but a bit pricey for the quality. Steak was undercooked to what I ordered a bit tough and veggies were still pretty raw.
It was my father in laws birthday and he can definitely be a hard sale when it comes to food.. All he wanted was steak and lobster so he ordered the top sirloin and petite lobster tails... The manager came by to inform him that they were all out of lobster.. And top sirloin.. Lol greeeeat. So he offered him another (more expensive) steak and shrimp instead for the same cost. And then the waitress came back and informed us that his beer was on the house. And then came back again and told us his dessert was on the house for his birthday (which was delicious and they wrote happy birthday in chocolate on the plate). And then came back once more to give him a gift card for free lobster tails and beer when he comes back next time. In my opinion, the standard service was incredible, food was amazing and then they went above and beyond for my FIL on his birthday. Thank you so much for a perfect evening!!
This is my absolute favorite restaurant in downtown area. The food is always fantastic and no matter what I order I am always delighted with my meal, specially the BLT and steak bites, Amal was great and always efficient, happy and polite. Canât wait to return and wouldnât hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to eat in the downtown area.
Chop has great food and the restaurant is clean and overall it offers a great dinning experience.
